"I own lots of guns and accessories so of course I have dealt with CDNN many times. This time I am done.
I ordered a new "white" grip for my sig 238 and they sent me an unpainted silver aluminum grip. I paid $40 for it which isn't cheap so I called and the customer rep told me that it is industry standard to call unpainted gun parts "white". I explained that it was advertised as "white", not "silver", and the picture shows a "white" grip as well, not unpainted metal. If they intend to ship an unpainted metal grip it should be advertised as unpainted, not white. That makes no sense, industry standard nothing. He then repeated that it is an industry standard and then he lied about the picture, telling me that it is silver in the pic. No. I can tell the difference between white and silver. Then they expect me to cover the return and cost of shipping even though I made no mistake. That would mean they expect me to pay $20 total in shipping to return a falsely advertised product. In additon, the package had been opened and it looked like a return. He disagreed, of course.
There are so many other companies out there selling guns and gun parts so it is no loss to me to never use them again.
Why lose a customer over their obvious mistake, not mine?
Make your own decision but I for one will not be giving them another penny and I suggest going with a company that admits a mistake."

"This is a review of the CDNN Sports Rifle Kit with the 18" barrel.

Pros
Economical - I work at a gun shop, and this kit was effectively dealer cost.
Easy - instead of having to source, hunt down, and price shop parts from all over, this was a single easy button item.
complete - my kit had everything except the lower receiver needed to build an operable AR-15
Fast shipping - i dont remember exactly, but i think my package arrived less than a week from the time of order.
True mil spec - all upgraded parts bought have fit with zero issues.
packaging - all parts were individually bagged for easy sorting and assembly of the firearm.

Cons
Some tuning required - initial testing found i had a short stroking issue, ultimately traced to a leaking gas block
some parts that are too cheap - the charging handle was garbage. after trying three more "budget" charging handles, I eventually broke down and got a Radian Raptor.

The kit I ordered had an assembled upper with an 18" barrel, huge three chamber muzzle brake, rifle length gas system, and free float low profile M-lok handguard. I assemlbed it on a Seekins Precision SP-223 billet lower receiver. Put a Sightmark Wolfhound 6x prismatic scope on it. I managed a 0.5in 10 shot group at 50 yards, and a 2.5in group at 100 yards. This was my first time ever shooting 100 yards with a scoped rifle, and I was using mixed bag ammo of unknown manufacture, bullet weight, et. needless to say, other than running the gun like a bolt action, I was very pleased.

I wound up chasing my short stroking issue (fires, ejects, but fails to chamber the next cartridge) for months, until I broke down and hit it with a bigger hammer. I installed a Seekins precision adjustable gas block, 2A armament gas tube, Trojan Firearms Ultralight BCG, my own 1oz spring loaded deadblow buffer, and a 25% reduced power buffer spring from righttobear.com, and now the system runs like a sewing machine, and recoils like a .22LR. I havent bench tested the new setup, but shooting from the shoulder, at 25 yards, rapid fire, 40 rounds, the group was about 2 inches.

the Kit looses a star for some cheap components and flubbed QC in upper assembly. but for I think $399 plus the cost of lower receiver and optic, the value is outstanding. I absolutely recommend CDNN sports kits to people doing builds on a budget. "

"Don't buy ammunition from CDNN. Their policy is to ship "Adult Signature Required", even within Texas, regardless of customer preference or instructions to the contrary. Very inconvenient and annoying. Don't California my Texas! Someone at CDNN needs to be fired!"

"I can't understand the negative reviews I have seen for CDNN. I have purchased 3 AR 15 build kits in the past month. A friend suggested I order from them. CDNN ships quick and the packaging is great. The AR 15 build kits I have ordered have everything you need to get shooting except for the stripped lower receiver, including a soft sided gun case and 30 round mag. Their parts are great, some other build kits purchased elsewhere seem to have light weight parts. Their web site is easy to navigate and once the order has shipped I can follow it all the way to my door with a shipping code. "

"Ordered a mag pouch and it arrived missing the retention tool and looked used. I call immediately and asked if they could at least ship the tool (allan wrench) and was told "absolutley not". I than told them I would like to return the item and at that point the rep got angry and told me they would not accept this return. I told the rep I will just dispute the charge with my credit card company. The rep really got angry and told me not to worry about it as they would just issue the refund. I recently tried to order an item online and come to find out I was put on a no re-sale list. Not only did they fight tooth and nail to not return an item clearly within their 3 day return policy but they also don't want my business anymore. Note to cdnn sports, if you send out a product missing a piece (even as little as an allan wrench) you have an obligation to ship the missing piece or return the item with berating your customers. I have no problem taking my money elswhere!! I forgot to mention the mag pouch was only $10. All this over $10. "

"I am writing this negative review because I was lied to by CDNN sports. I placed an order, they sent it to the wrong address. So after two weeks of waiting, they would not reissue the package until I swore under penalty that I didnt reveive it (even though it was on record they sent it to the wrong address). For my hassle, they said they would return my 10 dollar shipping fee. So two weeks after all this, Still no tracking number, still no 10 dollar credit. Another morning spent on the phone. They then tell me that since they are reissuing the package, that they are not going to return the shipping fee. CDNN seems to have ok deals, but alot of their accesories are garbage. Save your time and patience. Order elsewhere."

"I ordered from CDNN Sports. I ordered a Speedfeed stock for my Mossberg 590 along with 11 Glock magazines. It came relatively quickly. I inspected everything and it looked ok. A couple days later, I try to install the stock on the shotgun and the bolt is probably an inch to short.
It's still within their less than generous 3 day return policy. I emailed them and informed them of the problem. I asked for the proper bolt or wanted to return it. A gentleman emailed me back the next day and asked the length of the bolt so he could check. I email back with the length. I heard nothing back.
I then called, and I hear that it's now past the three day return period and they wouldn't honor the return. I would have to call the manufacturer. **** off, but getting nowhere, I can't find online anything listing the manufacturer of Speedfeed stocks. So I have this piece of worthless plastic. Nice.
Needless to say, it's buyer beware with CDNN Sports. The business policies by this company are suspect at best. I spend a fair amount of my money, maybe 5000 in the last few months, on firearms and accessories. I thought CDNN Sports would be a good source for doing business with, but there is no chance one dollar of spending will go their way."
