"Awful. I am so disappointed and I worry about my kids all day. There are some great people here but overall I just cannot bring myself to feel confident that my kids are getting quality and meaningful care."

"Generally positive! Many of the staff are so caring, and my child enjoys going to school each morning. Just really hoping for consistent teachers so that there can be some stability in the classroom and in the communication."

Poor Management

"As a current employee I have experienced continuous harassment. As an Administrative Assistant I am not allowed to perform my job duties. As there are two teachers (lead teachers) who spend their day at the front desk SITTING/TALKING ordering supplies for bulletin boards, making or sitting in the new directors office laughing and socializing. Meanwhile I’m sent to cover other teachers?!? I am not a teacher. But parents are turned away with their children due to staff shortages, but two teachers are sitting, socializing with the director, who is completely passive about what’s going on. Whenever a parent complains she is bothered. It is a toxic workplace, with no accountability for the actions of the employees. Morale is an all time low. Poor management. If you complain or attempt to address an issue their is retaliation. There are children that should be transitioned to the next level in order for them to grow and develop but that is not the focus of management. They are focused on being petty. I enjoy the children but not the work environment. "

"I think you should worry less about how many teachers you can send home the day to save money on salaries and ensure that there is permanently enough teachers to go around. This would help you with your staffing issues and also help parents when we drop our kids off but need to wait for another teacher to arrive because of capacity. Again we pay a lot of money. I believe this will help with the overall mood as well. Also the transition issues due to staffing issues can be cancelled out by only doing transitions on a school year and not by age. It is unfair to certain children to have the opportunity to transfer and some not due to staff capacity and numbers. If you do transitions on school year just like normal schools do then that will resolve that issue and children won't have as hard a time to adjust to more change. So many kids moving in and out and then teachers move around. It is hard to keep up as a parent. Imagine how kids feel just after they adjusted and built 1 connection and the next day it change"

"My overall experience with this school has been barely satisfactory. The school passively listens to concerns and then makes no changes (or minimal changes, enough to placate you). My child does not feel safe there with some of the carers. There is minimal structured engagement such as painting / art / fine-motor skills and the planning of each day is left up to the room leader rather than overseen by someone with experience. I do not see a lot of training being done to improve the level of teaching either. Overall, if I had a better option, I would remove my child."

"I am honestly a very happy mom and fortunate that my son got a spot in the school.I have never experienced such friendly teachers/staff all the time. The do everything they can to include the kids and make them feel welcomed. They promote independency but also makes sure they meet the needs of each one of the kids. I love that I can feel part of my son's school day by having access to the online app. Big plus for me is the food they give the children. Not even I make that kind of fancy food. My son gets to experience different tastes and food groups that I never would have thought about giving him. I am kept in the loop on a daily basis of what is happening at the school and get so many updates/feedback that it feels like I am there with my son. Knowing my son is happy is all that matters. He gets to learn skills and interact with friends. My opinion is that I don't believe a lot of at home day cares can give children the same experience or teach kids what Children's Courtyard is doing. Love this school"

"We have thoroughly enjoyed our time at Children's Courtyard. My boys love waking up each morning and going to school. All of the teachers we have had the opportunity to work with have been attentive and have shown a real caringness to my children. The staff always greets us and takes an initiative to learn each child at the center's name. My boys are learning every day, growing in confidence, feel comfortable, and I know they are safe. That's all I could ask for in a daycare."

"Some teachers are great and others are not. The biting issue was not addressed when my son was getting bit weekly until I called corporate. Communication is terrible from the facility director. Anytime I see her she has headphones in and may or may not acknowledge me."

"Too much staff turn over and not enough staff to support the amount of children in the class. A teacher that is not fully certified in early childcare, should not be the only teacher in a room with so many kids. Corporate is trying to get money but not spending it where it should be spent. I would not recommend this school, unless they make a HUGE turn around ASAP."

"Since my son is not a native speaker of English, so I have talked with teacher how to communicate. I feel that she often pays attention with him, it is very much appreciated."

"We’ve been with this location for nearly 3 years. The staff and teachers put forth effort to make this a fun and engaging daycare experience. Turnover is higher than I’d like - but I think that is a reflection of issues outside the control of the local office and director. I’d love for the teachers and staff to be paid highly competitive rates - this is a hard job and they deserve it! I’d keep my kids in here from birth to pre-K if we didn’t have to move."
