Not what they used to be

"I have used this company for at least four years. This time, I ordered a new design for a postcard. The postcard was supposed to be glossy UV coated, as advertised on their website. It arrived with a matte finish. Also, it was a different cardstock than I previously received in two other orders -- a lighter weight. I called customer service and asked for a reprint. They asked for photos comparing my previous order. Then they said they never got the photos, which were attached to an email. I asked for a refund. They just called me and said they can't process the refund until they see the previous glossy-UV coated cards. And they are sending me a Fed-Ex label to ship the cards. I ordered these cards 1 month before my deadline and now my deadline is a week away. I have to find another company that will do the job right. I am removing my account with this company. So much for their promise to fix the order if it's not correct... It definitely is not worth the hassle."

Great online design tools, fast & quality printing

"I have ordered from BusinessCards24 a few times over the years.

Their designs are well done and catchy.

The customization tool is very intuitive and easy to use. Light years better than other firms. Very easy to use the grids to align different elements, plenty of fonts to choose from, true WYSIWYG functionality.

"I've ordered many times for our business and never had a problem. I haven't had to have a problem resolved though so I really haven't dealt with customer service other than them giving me discount codes via chat everytime I've ordered."

"When I ordered my business cards from this company initially I designed the card wrong and put a wrong phone number. As soon as I put in the order I realized I messed up so I called customer service immedietly! Customer Service said I still had time to fix the mistake to just go on the site and fix it. When I got the cards delivered the phone number was wrong. The lady on the phone said " Oh we usually have the customer pay half, but since it was our error we will pay to fix it." She also mentioned could she could put a shadow on one the words which I agreed to. Then she said what if I take the name of your husband, which is on the card and put it at a slant because I think it would look better. I told her if she thought that would look better that I trusted her judgement to go ahead. Well I got the new cards in and the name of my husband was in a completely different place on the card. I called them back to get this fixed. The girl listened to our last converstation which had been recorded and says to me " Well you told her that you trusted her to make the correction." I did tell her she could put it at a slant but not to move the whole entire name. She told me that I could send both sets of business cards back and they would refund my money. When I asked if I had to pay the postage for it and asked if they just weren't going to do the cards then the girl on then started getting a smart mouth on the phone with me. The company ended up hanging up the phone on me and now I'm writing this. In the end the cards don't even look good. I should have known they would look cheap. The absolutley did not back up their customer after it was their fault for the second time. Do not give your business to these people!"

"They tried to totally scam me with a bogus charge! Here's a transcript of my chat with support:

I noticed an extra bill on my credit bard statent for 29.24

Yes, The $29.24 charge in question is for copyright permissions. When you select this, our system will automatically email the design to use for products we don't offer or web design, etc. It looks like you chose the option when you created your account. Perhaps that was accidental? If you didn't intend to purchase this service then we can credit you for it and disable it in your account. Please let us know and we will be glad to assist you.

Yes, please credit it to my account. I didn't an to purchase it. Also please do not charge my credit card again. What was I being charged for; I don't understand?

The charge was for the COPYRIGHT PERMISSION

"As many years as a graphic design artist, I've NEVER encountered such HORRIBLE customer service!! I decided to change printing company to save a little money..and their printing quality was HORRIBLE! Next, they said in order to refund my money, I had to return the cards (which I don't mind doing) but they told me I HAD TO PAY FOR SHIPPING...company policy! So I lose on both ends..no cards, lose MONEY! I DO NOT recommend this printing company AT ALL!!!!!!!!"

"Ordered $14.99 worth of business cards last week from BusinessCards24.com. Used their film template .. maybe a little cheesy but I just wanted to get things done. Chose the font from what was available, adjusting the size, color, information I wanted, deleted what I didn't want.

$9.90 for shipping brought the cost up to $24.89

Checked my credit card, Sunday, and discovered they'd charged an additional $29.24 which, Customer Service said was for Copyright transfer, in case I want to produce similar products elsewhere. CS said I had checked this option when I created the account.

Total cost of $14.99 business cards was now $54.13 so I declined their Copyright transfer service and they promised to credit my card within 5 business days.

Package arrived a day later than estimated and, in comparison to the PDF proof they provided, looks muddy on this black background. Grey text is definitely darker than in the PDF proof provided and the red text, used in the default template, is nearly illegible. Packing slip indicated the total order was for $24.89 with no mention of Copyright.

Can a company even copyright a business card? When I shoot photos with my Nikon or edit in PhotoShop neither Nikon nor Adobe lays claim to the copyright. But if there was any kind of copyright transfer it seems I should have some document stating so. Not just a charge on my credit for "services."

Checked my credit card today and they have issued a credit. I hope that's the end of it.

"AVOID! I placed an order for $5 (with shipping). Soon afterwards, I started being charged $20/month from BusinessCards24. I contacted them to inquire about these charges. They claimed that I signed up for a monthly "free shipping program" which I absolutely did not. They partially refunded the $20/month charges, except then charged me shipping for my inital order. Very bad experience - do not give them your business!"
