"Even after leaving the States, I kept ordering my health powders from American companies, notably All Star Health. With the continuous increase in shipping costs and weakening of the euro against the dollar, however, it became necessary for me to find a European provider. The three big ones I found are Myprotein, Bulk Powders and GoNutrition. Prices for all three are very close (in fact, they’re often identical to the penny), but Myprotein has the better sales overall (more interesting and more frequent), so I made my first order with them. It was a disaster (which I relate in my review of them, if you want all the details). After that, I ordered from Bulk Powders, which I chose over GoNutrition solely because of a sale at the right moment on the product I needed most.

My order arrived in two days, from the UK to the south of France. That’s incredibly fast, especially considering it can take more than two days for a letter to travel from Paris to Paris (yeah, you read that right). Bulk Powders relies on the same carriers as Myprotein, though, so the difference in speed is most probably circumstantial.

Something else that surprised me, though, was the sturdiness of the packaging. Even the cardboard boxes I bought for my big move from Taiwan to France weren’t as thick as those used by Bulk Powders. As a result, the two boxes I received didn’t have a dent or a wrinkle — I even kept the larger one as a permanent container.

Another point in favour of Bulk Powders is that their resealable bags actually *are* resealable, unlike Myprotein’s. Consequently, I didn’t have to transfer the whey protein powders from their 5-kg bags to the airtight plastic storage containers I usually prefer."
