"Builder Depot are just a bunch of fakes and liars. Have a look at their Trustpilot site, full of fake reviews - so fake it is so obvious!!! They have attacked any reviewer who left a negative review. What a horrible company. I have seen reviews on Indeed about how they treat employees badly too. Looks like Builder Depot is a sham, any company making such effort to hide bad reviews and put fake ones up is a total reck and a total waste of time. Do not trust this company - they have proved themselves dishonest."
"I purchased a shed online through Sears.Com and found out that builderdepot was the original retailer who sells the product. they gave run around for a month now trying to get refund and return of the product that came to me damaged via what they claim is the shipper, but it is unknown to me. regardless, the quality of the plastic is so poor, the first windstorm here in Michigan would destroy this cheap shed, therefore, i was not satisfied with the misrepresentation online. I have purchased deck boxes from sears.com before, and much better quality plastic. I have had multiple craftsman deck boxes for years, and they can withstand even hail storms. This plastic junk from builder depot is paper thin and will shatter at the smallest amount of wind and/or hail we get. All i did was ask for a return authorization and refund in full, and Nitsa Galata from builder depot got nasty and called it buyer remorse and said its not her problem. is that how they do business? I need to let everyone know they are charging 1800 for trash - price gouging for poor quality products and scamming online buyers during covid 19! Seriously, beware of these scammers!"

I should have read all the reviews before placing an order with the company. I cancelled an order after hours that was placed online. I was told that my order could not be cancelled due to them shipping right away. Not good practice. I will decline the package when it comes. The delivery date is posted is May 30 - June 2, 3020 but yet my order cannot be cancelled on May 13th or 14th... Ridiculous! Do Not Buy From This Co.

"I purchased 2 fire doors at a cost of over a thousand pounds, so not cheap. One door had scratches on the wood work, the other door had rotten wood inside the core that when my carpenter went to fit the latch, a piece crumbled off. Both doors were sub standard, avoid purchasing from this company."

"This is a horrible business. I have documented evidence, including pictures, to prove product damage on delivery. We did not just receive one damaged washer, we received two. The second washer, which we were not expecting because we were told by the company we would get a refund and would need to reorder, was the wrong washer.
After approximately seven phone calls to Builder Depot, and no refund, we contacted Walmart where we ordered the unit. Walmart was exceptional. They refunded my money almost instantly. I explained my experience with Builder Depot, and warned them about future dealings.
The shipping of both items was horrible. In fact, the second washer was not even strapped to the skid. It had fallen over in transport, and the driver stated, "I have never seen an item so poorly shipped."
There is NO spin this company can provide to make their customer service, packing, refunds and delivery acceptable. Read these reviews...Beware!

"They do not offer any customer service. An item they delivered to me was damaged and they will not do anything to help exchange or refund. The customer service team are rude with no manners. Avoid and buy elsewhere. "
"I placed an order for some goods which arrived in time ish but the trouble really started when I called buildersdepot to return some excess items. I called within 14 days and was told by the customer service team that they would call to confirm pickup cost. I did not get a call for a week and when I called back I was told that I have missed the return period. Numerous conversations later I have no response despite asking buildersdepot. I now have £250 worth of skirting boards in the garage that I cannot do anything with and will go in the skip.
No respect for customers and really poor customer service. Do yourself a favour and go somewhere else. There are lots of good alternatives. A mistake I will not repeat again."

"I placed an an order on Saturday as I was very impressed with the price although the delivery was a little high for just a standard delivery at £20. On Monday I received an email to say that an item was out of stock and to advise if i wished to delay the order, refund part or all of the order. I did just that, asking to refund the out of stock item and requesting the delivery to proceed. I was informed the delivery would be despatched Tuesday for delivery Wednesday. Wednesday came, I'd had no refund notification and I called to chase for details. They had no record of my contact and nothing had been done. I again asked for the item to be cancelled and the delivery to be processed. Now I am told I have to wait for Friday.
I find it shocking that they could have upgraded my shipping considering I have had to wait 5 days for delivery due to an error on their part.
Very disappointed.

"BuilderDepot.co.uk are the worse company I have had the misfortune to deal with in years. After failing to delivery an order on the day they had promised they offered to pay for a timed delivery the next day by 11am. I had workmen in who were relying on the delivery. It didn't come and after several calls, where people promised to get back to me but didn't, I was told it would definitely be there by 3. Again no delivery. Now it was 5. Still no delivery and still no one got back to me, I always had to ring them. Finally at the end of the day they said that 'the courier internet site hadn't been working which is why there were delays’. Ah, computer error! That old chestnut. The manager, Paul Talk-to-the-Hand Forman said that there was nothing they could do, and that timed deliveries had no compensation or guarantee of any kind to underpin them. So just an empty promise then? Why did they only tell me at the end of the day there was 'computer malfunction?' If I had known earlier I could have sent the workmen home. Why did no-one get back to me when they promised? Why did no one in deliveries even answer the phone and I had to go through sales to get a pick up? When I asked Paul how to escalate my complaint he said to send an email to him and he would investigate!!! I said you've already told me you're not prepared to do anything, so why would I bother to email you exactly? Oh, that's the complains procedure, he said. They assured me that 'computer malfunction' happened only very rarely. Well it is the first time I have used this company, and for me it is a 100% f* up experience. The workmen also kept ringing them and were actually lied to. The office said that the lorry was in the area, but when they actually spoke to the driver it was miles and miles away! It was my birthday and I had hoped it would all run smoothly, but no I had to make endless calls while trying to have a nice day out. All to no avail. It is now 8pm and I am not even sure if delivery has been made. Perhaps they had meant timed delivery by 11pm not 11am!"
"ordered a product thru amazon sold and shipped directly from builders depot. Description was vague so asked for detail but never got response. Description was "3 hose 1 meter" which I took to mean 3 hoses, 1 meter (since I knew they were 1 meter in length). Turns out only ONE hose was what they were shipping. Sent back and they say they only refund price of the item, not shipping either way, so I'm out $20 for a $20 item. Customer service was rude in their interactions with me. Return policy did not state above facts. These guys know nothing about customer service so don't expect to get any. "
"Builder Depot is a bundler service that accepts little responsibility for flawed products that you receive. They have no customer telephone number to contact. They only have an email address at which you can record and request direction for flawed products, like a cracked aquaglass bathtub. They do not reply to the email when you send it. Their return policy says you must contact the vendor first, in our case the vendor,aquaglass, has agreed to ship another bathtub."
