"At first i could not have More Pleased...Prompt Verification or order and later an announcement of When to expect Delivery.
---Next order..NO VERIFICATION after 36 hours...Tried to do Online Chat with "Josh" and he disconnected TWICE without any response. I only asked about Verification of order. I called Next Business day and stated if they Always Operate this poorly..CANCEL my order--Apparently THEY DO OPERATE THIS POORLY-- And they Cancelled the ORDER

Brownells- Trustworthy and Efficient

"Prior to placing an order from Brownells, I called via phone, used chat, and emailed. All three interactions were commendable. Customer service via phone assisted me in the merchandise I was ordering. Further questions were addressed via chat. Actually, I asked to be notified when a certain item arrived. Brownells kept their word and notified me the product was in. Not any other notified me and I sent out an abundance of notifications to numerous retailers in the same setting. I did place an order for the item and found Brownells to be very courteous, efficient, and trustworthy. All emails sent to me via Brownells were as promised, inclusive of the ship date with order number. Not any can ask for better service. Thank you very much Brownells and we hope the best for Brownells, its staff and personnel; now and in the future."

STAY AWAY

"Just stay away, shop at midway or palmettostatearmory. I ordered sunday night with faster shipping, and they put my order on hold (as per 100 other reviews) and never contacted me. I emailed 3x with no reply, and when I finally called they said their system does this randomly... (to 100s of customers all time...) But never contacted me or planned to contact me. It is now thursday end of day and my order has not went out, nor has my CC been charged. They are now closed for the holidays. I Ordered from midway at the same time, and my packaged was shipped by 1030am monday morning. I will NEVER shop at Brownells again. NEVER. "

Go Someplace Else

"Ordered 2 items at $48 total and the items were damaged in shipment by FEDEX. I sent in the photos as requested. Customer service explained that company policy is to wait for the claims process (30 days) unless shipping protection was purchased. FEDEX automatically covers $100, so why would a customer pay for protection if the package is less than $100? They chose the shipper, not me. This policy is unethical at best and displays horrendously poor customer service. A good company would issue an RMA and ship out new product. I’ll never purchase from Brownell’s again."

Brownell's = NO GOOD

"Advice to All:
save your money and SHOP elsewhere!

my experience - ordered and paid for a product.
one month later, still no delivery of product. No return callback or email from Brownell's after my three attempts to contact them.
At this point, they can have my $25.00 and keep their lousy product, I have already purchased the same item plus extras for spare also saved money and received my items from online retailers with much better service and shipping.
Go Away for good Brownells. bye now

Brownell's Inc-Took My Money-Provided No Product-No Customer Service Help-No Refund

"Brownell's Inc has not responded to my several requests for help from them.
Though my order was less than $30.00, their business conduct is just short of intentional theft.

Shame on Brownell's Inc to pride themselves as being a respectful American business and treat customers so poorly.

Horrible Customer Service

"You guys use to be very good place to buy anything gun related, last year I purchased a rifle from you you guys I paid full price you guys then placed the rifle on sale I contacted your office you guys did not even bother to call back, I just called this morning for and order that I paced over the weekend left a call back number one of you representatives called back playing stupid that could not hear me, I never have issues with this phone I have been on the phone all morning, your customer services is horrible I will not spend another penny with you guys I remind you there are a lot of other retailers out there selling the same for better price and excellent customer service"

Just wait longer

"Ordered a sling, received an email from Brownell's saying it would deliver June 1st, cool. The day came and went, no delivery. No delivery today. I called the post office because UPS tracking said it was with them. They say UPS didn't deliver it to them. I called UPS and they don't offer support for this kind of delivery. I contacted Brownell's, the customer service rep said to just wait longer. If I don't have it by next Monday, a full week late, I'm having my bank reverse the charge."

What Happened to Brownells?

"I'd been a customer of Brownells for at least 20 years. Their customer service has gotten really bad, and has made doing business with them impossible.

I last placed an order that was to be delivered on 4/6/20. I contacted Brownells on 4/8/20 to report the package was never delivered and was offered zero assistance. I ended up contesting the charge with my credit card company on 4/9/20 and placed a new order with another merchant.

I tried giving them another chance last week, but they cancelled my order. I guess Brownells now blames me for their issues, and I am no longer a customer. Good riddance.

Reading Brownells responses on the Better Business Bureau's website to other customers who are also missing their orders, it is apparent that they do not care if a customers order is ever actually received. It is their policy to deny all loss claims.

My business will now go to other more reliable and friendly merchants like MidwayUSA and OpticsPlanet. I'd recommend that other customers not risk doing business with Brownells.

Poly80 serialized build

"Bought a poly80 serialized g17 model .I believe I have a defective locking block and or frame . Called brownells to return they gave me run around quoted store policy told me call poly 80 I did they do not answer phone or emails tried several times.called brownells back told them gave me runaround again very bad customer service they should have taking back item returned money and dealt with poly80 themselves wont buy from brownells anymore not even one penny to them."

"Absolute terrible customer service and experience and worse financial department. Archaic web design with absolutely no warnings of any kind of transaction proce just for these idiots to cancel my order. They dont even listen to you when you say you dont need a call back"
