Theives!

"DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!

I bought the Mavis Beacon 2020 version. Not a pirated copy, I actually paid for it.
Things were going well until I got reached the Intermediate Level and the lesson introducing the keys “?:!

I have been stuck on a game, ever since. I do not even want the games, but there is no option to turn them off, or even decline. There is no option to at least turn off the sounds in the games, only the lessons.
Isent Broderbund a video, showing the issue.

I have not been offered support, or a refund.

All get is : "We cannot replicate the issue"

Beware of this company, they do not stand behind their products and the customer care is practically no n existent.


I am now going to get legal advice. It's not the money, it's the principle.

Crap Support!

"In July I purchased Calendar Creator and installed it. I actually got to use it one time. In August I needed to make a new calendar and it would not even open so I uninstalled it and cleared my temp files then reinstalled it, still would not even open. The message I received was; "This App Can't run on your PC, To find a version for your PC check with the software publisher". So I contacted Broderbund and their recommendation was to do exactly what I'd already done. I'm running Win 10 ver 1903. I will never purchase another program from this company and I will definitely steer my friends away from the company. Crap programs and no support. "

Still waiting

"Placed an order on March 29th and now a month and a half later the order is still in “Processing” status. I have written to their customer service 3 times and only received a response on the first email that my order would be received in about a week. That was a month ago. Used to be a better company. If I ever receive my order, it will be the last one I ever have with them. Pretty sad."

"Horrible tech help, just simply the worse.
I am having issues with graphical displays on PrintMaster 16 DVD and I explained numerous times my issue and that I have tried all the online suggestions they have on the site to no avail.
All of their responses are "Thank you for contacting Brodurbund, please see our website for a fix and this may be the only responce you will get." This of course does me no good........oh but I could call them on the phone for support on their product for like $2.95 a minute!!!!!!
NEVER BUY ANY OF THEIR SOFTWARE cause if you run into any issues your screwed.
OBTW....they do have the same help pages for older versions and those state that phone support in no longer available for older versions.

"At least one of the previous comments is from someone mad at Broderbund because their website accidentally allowed ordering multiple copies of $50+ software for basically free, and Broderbund cancelled the orders when they discovered their error.
Come on people, when you try to take advantage you can expect to be dissapointed. Cancelling orders is common practice by all online companies when obvious errors like that occur. Sure some companies allow the orders to go through for goodwill, but you can certainly expect a company to cancel orders when hundreds of deal-site members knowingly swamp them with bogus orders!
Broderbund has shown themselves to be a reputable company. They've learned some hard lessons from past mistakes, but don't seem to be repeating them.

"Placed several orders. Extremely slow order processing - one order is still outstanding almost 30 days later (it has a record on their website, but I never received any email confirmation, nor has credit card been charged). Poor customer support website and few automated email updates. Their site is in need of modernized processing. Some good bargains, sometimes, however. Buyer beware of some potential headaches over order status and delays."

"Broderbund cancelled order because "legitimate", current, promo codes I entered made the product too cheap. Terrible customer service attitude. They should have sold it anyway and gained a new customer that would have bought upgrades, and other products, now I will never buy anything from Broderbund again."
