"This perfume is not carried by any stores in my area. The only sample I had was from a magazine and based on that, I ordered the perfume expecting it to smell the same as the sample. The perfume arrived today and as soon as I opened it, I realized it smelled nothing like the sample. This is not a particularly inexpensive perfume ($88 for 1 fluid oz./30ml) but I do note they expend a little too much on the packaging. In any event, there was a return label in the package with instruction, if not satisfied, to return within 20 days. I tried online to obtain the return number but kept getting bumped out. I called the 1-800# and was advised there are no returns on perfumes if they have been opened. I was unaware of this and it certainly did not state anywhere in the online ordering process that this was so.....so I am now stuck with an $88 bottle of perfume that will never get used. This has certainly soured me on the Bottega Veneta name."
"Bottega Veneta is a premier, high-end designer brand that is famous for their stunning and luxurious line of handbags, most notably their intricate weaving design that is seen on most - if not all - of their leather handbags. I longed for something small from this brand for a long time and finally decided on a simple key ring. The order process was smooth and I was greeted with a lovely order confirmation minutes later.
After the weekend (since the order process is said to take business days M-F), I inquired about my order to Ana, BV's personal online shopper about my item. To my utter surprise, my item was delivered on Saturday, Next Day Air! My package has been sitting on the front porch all weekend! It was utterly amazing since the free shipping was actually NEXT DAY AIR! I was astounded!
Thankfully my package was still safely sitting outside my front door, safe and sound. The key ring looks gorgeous!! I daresay the BV CS and shopping experience was very smooth. They do not provide tracking for "safety reasons", nor do they give you a shipping confirmation either (which was the reason why I had no idea, that my package was already delivered on Sat.), but you can always give Ana a ring to ask about your orders.
A great experience overall, I hope in the near future I can get something much bigger than a key ring. 5 stars!"
