"I ordered the Botkier Connor large handbag in gunmetal lambskin and paid extra for two day shipping. The problems started when they didn't ship the order for three full days. When contacted they claimed that they don't ship orders for up to 36 BUSINESS hours ... that's close to a week! They refunded the extra money for 2 day shipping since my purse was then set to arrive over a week after I placed the order. When it arrived I was extremely disappointed to see that rather than being gray it was black and a sort of bronze metallic that felt a lot more like fabric than lambskin which is usually quite soft. As I went through the steps to return the purse, they pushed hard to get me to exchange it rather than return it. When I said I wanted to return it, they pointed to their policy of a $35.00 restocking fee PLUS charging for shipping. That policy is well hidden while you're initially placing the order. There are many excellent handbag designers and retailers out there who are anxious to retain customers. In my opinion it seems that Botkier is so desperate for money that they'd rather take $35 for nothing and alienate a customer forever rather than apologize for a misleading picture and description of the purse. This is a company to avoid."
