Paid off the phone, you will get a owe phone

"Background:I bought a Certified Pre-Owned iPhone 7 from Boost Mobile on July, paid off and no contract. And the phone describe as "certified pre-owned phone."Which suppose be clean, but when i checked the IMEI numbers of the phone online on Sprint,it turned out be a arrears phone and owe Sprint money.
But i never use Sprint network before and always be a Att user, and i don't even have a Sprint numbers. It couldn't be my bill. But that's a balance on a full price paid off phone, and it can be sell,it's unfair and no business ethics action.
I couldn't believe Boost Mobile,a sister company of Sprint, four big carriers of US,sold arrears phone to the customer! That give me a very bad shopping experience. Then I contacted with Sprint,Sprint asked me to pay the balance no matter what and push me to Boost Mobile.
Then i called the numbers of Boost Mobile.First,I talked to the manger Jonathon,I asked for return,he promises to refund, then push me to the return department.I talked to that return guy,and that guy keep insisted it was their policy.Next i talked to the manger of the return department, that manger played around and keep said it's Sprint's locked up problem, want to turn they are selling arrears phone with full price to "Sprint's Locked Up" problem and didn't want to solve question at all.And because i asked few question on that,he hang up the phone.
Be honest, before i contact with Sprint,I already called Boost Mobile many times.Either told you to wait, push you go to Apple Store, rudely hang up your phone.....Yeah,smile attitude, but nothing shows they want to solve problem.Their customer care is very bad and hypocrite.
And the serious problem is they sell the arrears, balance owe phone to customers, and with full price. You paid off the phone, and you get a arrears unclean cellphone. And don't even put this on the description, tell the customers that's "Certified".Let customers paid off the phone, and paid the bills that don't even belong to them. It's definitely a commercial scam.I couldn't accept that.

Don't click the buy button on boostmobile.com

"Please do not make the mistake I made. Go anywhere else and you will receive better customer service than boostmobile is capable of providing.

I purchased a phone for a boy whose phone was stolen from him at his school.
Now where on boostmobile's site doesn't say that you cannot purchase a replacement phone
and then have it shipped as a gift to a different address.

After learning this the hard way I called immediately and cancelled the order.
I purchased on the 16th of November. To date (December 9, 2016) I have not
received my money back. Keep in mind that I was never supposed to receive
this order. Remember I wrote above I cancelled it. Well... they do not run a very
efficient website.

If you decide to purchase from this website.... Heed my warning. You will only get
your money back if and when they want to give it to you. They are a bottom of the
barrel cellular phone service.

I have dealt with customer service several times. I was told that to keep calling
them would not help to get my money back any faster. I have waited so long...
There is now no way to call whenever I get my money back FAST. Unacceptable Service!!!!!

It is now December 17th... I still do not have my money back. #@#$#$
This dysfunctional website clearly needs some government oversight to
protect the Public from their abuse!!!

This company straight out LIED!!! They did not give me the entire REFUND that I
was entitled to. My Advice to YOU... Avoid doing business with this TERRIBLE Company
at all cost! They are #$$^*&$@@)*^ up.

"March 2014:
Placed an order of 6 prepaid phones. They were delivered very promptly. I tried to place another order but it would keep rejecting my credit cards (plural). Emailed support, and they replied very promptly. They didn't answer my question correctly so I replied to the email, and within an hour I received a support phone call. Still couldn't really solve my problem, they told me I should order it over the phone. I gave up and decided to try next week.

One week later I try to place another order and it failed like the other times. So I call and try to place an order over the phone (the wait time was long). And it fails to process in their system, but this time the representative was actually a lot more helpful. He told me that the system limits only a certain number of orders per address/email.

Pros:
Ships fast.

Cons:
Phone wait time is long.
My address was cut short, it didn't even have the "#1234" after the address even though the shipment confirmation had it and I wasn't notified of this!
Customer service is not competent enough.
Limit of orders that is not stated anywhere on their website.

"I've been a BoostMobile customer for about 2 years now, and am very happy with their service. I was previously a Cellular One customer, but when AT&T bought them, the service kept going down while the monthly costs kept creeping up. Boost is a fixed amount every month, and no worrying about going over my minutes or too many texts - it's all unlimited.

I switched to Boost, and while the coverage isn't quite as good as AT&T or Verizon, it's still very good. If you're not already familiar with them, Boost uses Sprint's network. I only hit dead spots when I'm way out in the country where even Verizon and AT&T are just now adding towers. Sprint will eventually get there.

We purchased 2 phones off their website and had them two days later. Setting up our accounts through their website was as easy as could be, and porting over our existing numbers was done in less than 10 minutes. The phones started off at $50 each per month, but with their Shrinkage, I'm now down to $35/month for each phone (soon to be $40/month because I'm going to upgrade my phone to an Android device.)

There are issues with their autopay system sometimes double-billing, so I go to a nearby authorized Boost dealer and pay each month in person. It's a small price to pay to get good cell service at a much lower cost than AT&T or Verizon. The times I did talk with customer service, they were nice. Their call center is obviously based in India, but still nice and relatively easy to understand.

I've recommended Boost to several people, and a number of my friends have switched and are happy with their service as well.

"You better check the coverage maps for service. Boost rents tower space from Sprint and if you are NOT in the best reception, don't even think about buying. If you rely on your phone like I do, you are better off with Verizon. I hate to say it as they are not cheap, but you will get what the best. Their support is very poor and you will get disconnected. If you do a video like I did... youtu.be/0gN2g3wLU7w you wont even get any feedback. So you are hereby warned!"
