"finally found a home for these 3 bogus pc3200 samsung sticks in a ecs kt600a (after 10 tries at other mb). make sure you get the manufasturers part # and order from that, there are several companies AIB, etc, that will sell you the samsung chips (or micron)on someone else's board."

To whom this may concern,
Recently, I purchased a stick of ram that was supposed to be a 512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR w/Heatsink for $92.49. Recently I had downloaded a program called AIDA32. This is a system analyzer. Out of curiosity I looked at the ram and to my dismay the above chip was not what I have (Attached below is a copy of the report). Since I built the PC myself, I know what I had purchased. I expected to recieve what I paid for, not what I was sold. I want to warn anyone from buying products at this site, especially their memory, as you will notice. Please notice what this site says about them:

(if this url won't work just go to http://www.resellerratings.com and put in a search for Booster Memory. They never responded to either phone calls or voice messages or e-mails. (I have e-mailed them 2 times) I believe I will contact the authorities on this matter and the Atourney General.

"i placed an order(price was quoted through email) and sent a money order in january. the money order wasn't even cashed until the beginning of april. i have yet to recieve my product or refund."

"I was sold two defective Samsung 512MB PC3200 400MHz DDR w/ Heatsink ram on Jan 21, 2003 and have returned those items to them on Feb 15, 2003. As of today March 09,2003 I have not received any refund and I have not been able to contact them either by phone or by email. Company has now changed there name to CompuProductz. Here is all the info I have on the two people running this company:

"well, it doesn't look like a lot of people are going to be shopping at this site anyway, but if for some reason you get a chance to - DON'T!

where to begin...

www.boostermemory.com is down except for the front page, mail to ****@**** bounces (the only working email is a hotmail account), they've been delisted from pricewatch and ebay, and you're chances of getting a product that's even close to what you orderded are approaching 0 (my 512MB PC3200 would only run without errors at 100MHz bus, 1/2 the advertised speed). it'll take them a week to respond to any emails, they'll never pick up their phone, and voice mails will go unanswered.

the boostermemory.com domain was created in mid-january, and it looks like they're folding by mid februrary.

good riddance.

i had to get my bank to reverse the charges on my visa in order to get my money back for 2 defective chips they sold me.

only buy something from this site if you are a masochist who enjoys throwing away your money.

" Found via pricewatch. Ordered on the Jan. 17th (charge posted to my CC on the 23rd) and finally got an email saying the product has shipped on Jan 29th. The product has dropped in price by $10 each from my time of order until the shipment was finally made. I only received the email concerning shipment after sending an email saying I was about to contact my CC company about a fraudulent charge.
The toll-free contact number leads directly to voicemail that is apparently never answered. The toll number either never answers of is busy. Email is answered very slowly if at all (until you threaten them, then it takes a day).
I will not buy from them again!
UPDATE 1/31/03: It has been 2 days since I was emailed the USPS tracking number and the number still does not show up on on the USPS web page tracking system.

"I will NEVER use these morons again! The pricewatch sight said same day shipping but, I have recieved no tracking number and, they never anser there phones (either number) I have left phone mesages and, sent emails asking nicely if I could please have info about my order.They do not respond.My credit card was charged right away so, Im forced to wait at there mercy! "I would not hesitate to do business with again. I'm in the process of building a new PC, and I purchased a nice stick of 400Mhz 512MB DDR with a copper heatsing for around $126. I recieved it 3 days later, and they were very timely with their communication and shipments. No complaints here."

"hello i have a bad feeling about the boostermemory shop thay is on your website they have made no conact to em at all
i have ordered last week wanted to know the status and still nothing heard back from them
i have left many messages and email no returns when they obviously have time to update prices on pricewatch but cannot get ahold of customers!

alos they were suspended from ebay obviously for a reason so i think they are pulling somethign here i order through them
