"I need a tux for my daughter's wedding in August and thought a nice MTM double breasted tux would be the thing. Well, it will be eventually but not the one that Bond Street made for me. Positives: They communicated very quickly and helpfully and the price is good for made-to-measure.. That, unfortunately, did not result in a tux that I would actually wear to any event except a stage costume production.
It is flimsy and has no interfacing at all below the very lightly padded and faced chest area. The sleeve linings pull to the cuff so they just show when you wear it with a shirt, as we do here in Ohio/Kentucky.
If you order from them. I would suggest you get an actual fabric sample first and insist on construction with a 'full canvas' or whatever fused thing they might use-at least make sure it has some decent interfacing to give the jacket some body. Otherwise, you may end up with something like what hangs forlorn, and unworn in my closet. "
