Good discount supplier of transducers

"I ordered a ST650 transducer for my very old Autohelm now Raymarine knotmeter. It shipped the next business day and arrived 2 days later. Worked perfectly, and included the valve sleeve and blanking plug as advertised. Yes, they don't publish their phone number, but they make that clear on their website, and they do have cheaper prices than elsewhere. If you want phone support, pay the extra bucks for a full-service dealer."

Great response

"I was looking for new transducers for my old Raymarine ST50. After finding Blue Heron I ordered the parts and though I have not received them yet had a question the day after ordered it (which is today). I was a little discouraged when I saw you had to contact them through an email form but I was pleasantly surprised to hear back from them within the hour. And with good news to boot.

As I say, I haven't received the parts yet (it's only due tomorrow or the day after - I ordered it last night) but have confidence that all will be good.

A responsible business model means having the means to communicate with customers by phone.

"I purchased a product online (the only way possible with this company) and as soon as I concluded the purchase I realized I had used the wrong credit card. I tried to correct this immediately, but the site has no phone number and the contact "tab", which provides an online form, does not work on my smart phone (droid). I finally contacted my office who did send them an email using their standard PC computer. The answer arrived the next day saying that once the order is process it cannot be changed. I kind of understand that a company does not want to spend money to answer phones, at least as far as ordering merchandise, but I am not impressed by this attitude. They do need to supply means of communication when it comes to support. This would have been so easy to correct and taken less than 5 minutes."

"Blue Heron and its customer service reps get an A+. I tried to purchase a temp transducer (for a RayMarine gps/fishfinder) from a local dealer, but gave up after having the wrong part sent to me twice. After searching the internet I found and ordered what I thought was the correct part, but soon after suspected I may have ordered the incorrect part. I called customer service. They were very knowledgeable and were able to change my order to the correct part. Thank you Blue Heron Marine. "

"I ordered a speed/temp insert for an older transducer. The part was delivered as promised. After the install, my fish-finder display was crashing. However, after a couple of emails, they contacted a technician at Airmar on my behalf and solved the problem. Great service!"

"Blue heron has no contact info. Response is done by bot. No way to contact or resolve issues. I ordered a transducer and they failed to tell me I needed an adapter with it. When emailed about the situation blue heron was defensive and argumentative in their response as well as going so far as to tell me not to order from them again. They will certainly not get any of my business in the future and will jump at the chance to tell how poorly I was treated by blue heron. My item also took 4 days when it was to take 2 days to get to me. Very poor service very poor response no real person to talk to. do not use this company their are many others with better service and more concerned about having satisfied customers. I will include my email to this review because I have plenty more to say and nothing to hide if anyone is interested . ****@****"

"This is my first time i purchase from this company and to be honest, they are really bad. :(
Their prices are the best but their service is bad. they do not reply to emails. They never sent my transducers and they charged my card. no reply till now. so hence my urge to post this review to that you can stay away from them
