"Sales person was very friendly, not pushy, and helped me choose the right tractor for my needs. I had bought a couple of used tractors prior, and came to the conclusion that people do not sell "good" used tractors, they use them till they need very expensive repairs! Buying a new tractor, I have been able to get my work done without having to spend all my time fixing the tractor, just small amounts of time taking proper maintenance on it.
I bought a Massey Ferguson 1739e, I opted not to go with the hydrostatic model, and use the savings to get a few more attachments instead. My neighbor has the hydro, and he loves it also. His is a smaller model than mine, but it is the right model for his needs, in fact, it is sometimes much better to have a smaller tractor.
Pricing was impossible to match anywhere in the US that I could find (I am one who spends a lot of time searching for a lower price). You can buy cheaper tractors, but you also get what you pay for. Massey is a very good tractor, long history of being a highly reliable tractor.
