Stay Away

"I ordered a kegerator and they charged me $3,258.34, which was approximately $300 more than we originally agreed to. Then decided to send me a far inferior kegerator than what I ordered. Plus it was a returned unit that had a price tag on in it of $599.00. When I complained I was told I don't understand how part numbers works and then I was told it really isn't a customer return. This sounds like a classic bait and switch, bordering on fraud. Now they are holding my money while I have to store a cheap piece of junk in my garage while I wait for them to arrange shipping."

Great Service and Product

"I ordered from Kegco.com, which is a subsidiary of Beverage Factory. They had a great price on the type of kegerator that I was looking for with all the features that I wanted. The order was set for delivery in just a little over a week via a freight company after the order was placed. Of course, right after the item was picked up by the freight company I realized that I made a mistake with my order. When I called up, they were very understanding and worked to see if they could get the item back before it was on its way across the country. Unfortunately, that did not happen. The day before the delivery, I received a call from the freight company and advised them that I had started the return process and provided the RMA number. I contacted Beverage Factory to advise them that the shipment was on the way back and was told that it could be a little bit before the purchase is credited back.

On that Friday, I got notice that the order was back at Beverage Factory. I decided to place the new order as I figured the original order would be credited back in due time. That evening I got notice of the refund to my credit card for the original order. I wasn't even charged for the shipping.

The new order arrived in a week and was packaged very well. I ended up missing two pieces of hardware, but I was able to make do with that I had on-hand. Upon contacting Beverage Factory about the missing hardware, I was told that it would be FedEx'd to me and I had it in hand in two days.

Stay Away!!

"Horrible company and Customer Service. I bought a $130 keg kit. Arrived. Put it all together and due to defective parts beer sprayed all over the place and spent a half hour on phone with them. Went to local brew shop to buy parts. Gave me a $25 credit, but everything on the site costs $18 to ship and they would not offer free shipping, so not a credit at all. Find a local brewshop to buy your products DO NOT use beveragefactory!"

"Do yourself a favor and avoid the toxic waste dump that is Beverage Factory.
If you work there - sorry your life choices have led you to such a dead end
This organization is completely incompetent
We ordered an item - we were promised delivery - after weeks of delay and numerous calls
It was "found" in a warehouse - it was delivered broken
We sent it back
Then the real pain started. Same process - more delay - more calls - more excuses and lies
Not kidding 20 at least - for a fridge!
Then finally it arrived. But the delivery guy could not bring it into the house - we paid for "white glove" but that was news to him
More calls - more excuses - more lies and still after 8 weeks the item is not delivered. How is this possible?
Beverage Factory is the best argument for Bricks and Mortar retail I have ever seen.

Completely incompetent at everything except apologizing

"Everything that could have gone wrong in our attempt to buy a double wine cooler from Beverage Factory went wrong.

When I placed the order, they contacted me and said that even though the website said the items we ordered were in stock, the one was actually on backorder. So, they offered us a bit of an upgrade to two dual-zone fridges, instead of one dual-zone and one-single zone. Then, they ended up following up and said they could send the three-zone configuration, but in stainless instead of black. Again, that was a bit of an upgrade, so I said OK.

But, that should have been a warning sign that Beverage Factory doesn't know what they are doing.

When the "white glove" delivery occurred, the end freight company only showed up with one of the two fridges. After a few days, Beverage Factory determined that it had been lost... then found... but it was damaged.

So, more of a delay. Beverage Factory sent a replacement refrigerator, but that was also damaged in transit.

I was contacted and told that the one unit had just a small ding. I was offered another discount for our troubles. I told them to bring that fridge and I would inspect it... and would refuse if it was too damaged.

The "white glove" company brought it into our unit, only for us to learn that the bottom had been damaged pretty badly. One of the four feet was missing.

I told the delivery company and Beverage Factory to take that back. Oh, and to top it off, that second fridge was hinged on the wrong side anyway!

And to further top it off, the freight company scratched our floor pretty badly on their way out... because the fridge was missing a foot due to the damage.

So, the end result is going to be Beverage Factory picking up the original fridge, giving us a full refund, and getting the delivery company to fix our floor.

Lesson learned by me... this company had a really good price on a double fridge, but it turns out it was too good to be true. I wasted a lot of time and have gone through a lot of hassle... and almost a month later, I still don't have what I paid for.

What a mess. Be warned.

"I purchased an Allavino wine cooler (Model AWR44-2) from the Beverage Factory on 6/4/2013 for $849.99. Within the past few days (8/6/2014), a light on the unit keeps flashing "E-2". I called Beverage Factory on 8/6/2014 and was told they did not know what caused the "E-2" and there was no service rep in my area so I would need to contact a repair person on my own. I contacted an appliance repair person who spent a good deal of time on the phone with a Beverage Factory rep (name was Nicole) who could not explain the flashing "E-2" and indicated, when asked about specific part numbers by my repair person, that they could not be located any longer. She offered no alternative. Thus for my 14 month old unit, I guess I am out of luck in solving the problem. That being the case, I will no longer deal with the Beverage Factory."

"Classic bait and wait. They do not keep much in stock, but do not tell you on the website. After you order and pay, you are notified that an item is back-ordered. Very deceiving and shady. They want you to think everything is in stock based on the shipping methods they offer.

I will pay slightly more from other honest, reputable sellers in the future. NOT WORTH IT. I don't trust Beverage Factory at all.

It would be fine if they were up-front about their stock. I might be willing to wait for something. The BLATANT DISHONESTY ruins all credibility.

"I purchased online from Beverage Factory because their website indicated that the item was in stock. On the next business day, I received an email indicating that the item was on backorder. I checked today (1/4/11) and their website still shows in stock. I contacted customer service. They said it was on backorder. I let the customer service rep know that I had purchased from them due solely to their site indicating that it was "In Stock". Their customer service was very polite but impotent. I'm nicking them for their website being out of sync with inventory."

"I ordered a large number of Wine Racks for a restaurant display. Sent the sales dept an email for a bulk order discount, and received a reply within a few days with a direct link with an invoice! "I have purchased from this store several times, and they've become one of my preferred vendors.
The items I've purchased are reasonably priced. This was a premium product, with all vendors offering pretty much the same price; Beverage Factory had a 10% discount, which helped.
Order was placed on a Sunday. The order was processed, and shipped, on Monday. I used standard ground service, and because we're both in Southern California, the package arrived on Tuesday.
Unit was well-packed, arrived undamaged, and works fine.
I've just placed another order with them, and I'm sure I'll continue to do business with them in the future.

"Ordered a Breezaire WKL1060 wine cellar cooling unit. I generally try to avoid retailers whose rating is below 8, but Beverage Factory had by far the lowest price, so I decided to give them a try. I received an e-mail order confirmation, and a shipping notice with tracking number. The unit was shipped in a timely manner, arrived as promised, and works great. "

"I placed an order on December 21 and received a confirmation E-Mail, stating that processing should take 24-48 hours. I went with this company, because the company Micromatic didn't have, exactly, what I wanted and this company was a little cheaper than companies that did have it. On January 3, I hadn't heard anything; so, I tried to contact customer service, to find-out the status. It is a very cumbersomb process. The response simply said that if I wanted faster shipping, I should have paid extra. I wasn't even told that status of my order - very unfriendly. Customer No Service. Amazingly, my order shipped the day after I contacted them. It arrived a week later. I am pleased with the product. I may buy from them again, but I won't expect anything from customer service."
