"Terrible company. I would never buy from them again. They look good and the prices are reasonable on the outside, but once you've made a purchase, customer service is not only bad, it's awful.
I managed to get my very expensive video editing system back to them before the warranty expired. The machine was always freezing during renders or playback of video files (which needs to be done all the time). They blamed it all on me adding software to the machine - However the system does not go on the internet, nor have I added software to it.

Eventually the machine came back, but the system is no better. It still crashes all the time. Total waste of £4,500. I'm livid.

"OUTRAGEOUS BUNCH OF INCOMPETENT FOOLS - They can obviously build a PC, check the reviews in magazines, that makes them even more outrageous. Be warned - DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM - if you do, use Visa, at least you will be able to claw back the money from them when it goes pear shaped. I am incredibly suspect of all the positive reviews here, reckon they should be checked for credibility. - here is my experience with the mighty POWEROID from BEST PRICE COMPUTERS.- Two weeks late (told it would take two weeks to deliver, took twice that) - Arrived in an outsize cardboard box, and was loose within it, amazing thing it was not smashed up on arrival! - tested it with light tasks (it is a £5000 editing machine, supposed to be the best on the block) - responded okay with small edits, not too demanding work, as soon as I put anything of any substance its way (like over an hour of an edit), it falls flat on its face in all departments! that on its own might be annoying enough after spending £5000, and being told the reason for the delay was that they wanted to make sure the machine was working well - but the good folks at Best Price will not answer emails, or telephone calls, despite the machine being under warranty and less than two months old. This is honestly the worst put together editing machine I have ever had the misfortune to have to work with (I have been in the business for over 10 years, and usually build them myself, I spent this money here as I had a large job looming, needed to upgrade, and thought I would treat myself to a machine built by Pros - what a laugh!!!! - I am now faced with breaking their seals on this machine, and voiding the warranty (because they wont respond) to go in and configure it the way it should have been in the first place - I am considering court action also for loss of earnings, frustration, not supplying what they advertised, and most of all, for completely ignoring cries for help when it all went wrong! (I have made no modifications to the machine, other than installing a copy of After Effects 6.5 Pro, which by the way, is about the only piece of video software on the heap of junk which does not crash the machine! - BE WARNED -STAY CLEAR OF BEST PRICE COMPUTERS and POWEROID - they also lie through their teeth - I was in a hurry for this machine, and it being late was a major concern - they told me it had been build, but was not doing well on benchmarks and so they would have to make sure it came up to their high standards (excuse me while I vomit) - thing was, apparently they had installed the operating system two weeks previously, but when I got the machine, Windows had 28 days left to be registered! (you get thirty days from installation)- that means it had been installed TWO DAYS pior to receiving it (day in the post means they spent one day on building it and running their so called stringent tests) - mind you, I should not really be complaining I suppose, a friend of mine bought a machine from them for a local education establishment - time to deliver??? SIX MONTHS!!!!!! -BE WARNED, dont believe a word on their website, and be suspicious of what you read elsewhere - spend your money wisely and keep it out of the hands of these cowboys."

"Absolutely no problems in purchasing from this company. I bought a 9210 with a p4 3200 processor. The machine is awesome and everything worked straight from the box. Although it is not possible to specify an exact delivery time (I was not at home when delivery was attempted) I phoned the carriers and they returned an hour later. "I have very grave suspicions about the ratings in this site for this particular company. Best Price Computers or Poweroid - depending upon what they choose to call themselves at the time.

I had the misfortune of buying two faulty machines from them. As an IT professional this is a great disappointment as I have to deal with the fallout from my users!

The PC's are poorly built, using cheap parts and the graphics, network and other cards are welded into expansion slots with what looks like hot melt glue - not a good idea. Of course you only find this out if you break the security seal on the case which invalidates the warranty.

Never trust a company which has so much to hide it won't let you look at the work you've paid for!

When I complained I was met with a barrage of abuse and complete lack if interest - the gentleman in charge had my money, and as far as he was concerned that was all that mattered."
