I bought a cemera for $209 on 7/10/2005 and never got my camera till today 06/12/2005. They charged me $228.99 which also more than my original purchase of $209. They never sent me e-mail with tracking information of shipment. I called them and was on hold for almost an hour each time with no result. The phone numbers are disconnected. I guess all of this happened because I didn't buy their camera package (with memory card, bag and cleaner ). Never buy from Bestdigital.com or Camera unlimited. They really suck.See below my purchase details

"Purchased a Canon Optura 20 at 299.00. They did not process the order and after I emailed the, emailed me back they were out of stock and cancelled the order. They now have the same camera on the web for 599.00. Coincidence?"

" My wife found this site ( bestdigitaldeals,com) & I placed an order for a Nikon Coolpix 5700.
The price was terrific & the site said 'in-stock'. The camera was stated to be 'new from Nikon' & U.S.(not grey market).
The price was after the $150 rebate (which I checked on & was offered by Nikon).
$338.00 delivered to your door!!!! Great, send it!
To my dismay, they e-mailed me to please call.
I called the next day to find out that the camera was 'out of stock' & backordered for 3-4 weeks & was asked if this was O.K.
I was not in a rush for it so I said,"O.K., no problem." The salesman asked me if I would be interested in a special for a battery & charger for that camera & I said I would wait 'til I got the camera.
Well, to my surprise, the guy told me there was NO BATTERY or CHARGER with this camera kit!!!
I called Nikon & they said,"if it is from us, it comes with everything to use it."
I called them back & they backed down immediately & asked if I would like to cancel my order because it looks like they will not be getting these cameras at this price again. (LIKE THEY EVER HAD THEM!)

They did not rip me off,but they did P--s me off.

"I bought a camera from Bestdigitaldeals because they were the lowest price I could find on the web. Now I know why. After placing my order the company contacted me and asked me if I wanted to buy a battery, battery charger, XD card, a USB plug and/or a software disc to download the pictures onto my PC. Even though their site said I would get a battery with the camera and I assumed it was a complete ready to use camera, much to my surprise it is/was not. Don't trust the low prices until you do all your research. Once you buy everything you need form these caracters, you will probably be paying as much or more than the average prices elsewhere. "

"Very disappointed with this retailer. Ordered camera that was supposed to be in stock and received order confirmation only to find out a week later the camera was on back order and could possibly be 3 to 4 weeks before shipping. Would never use this vendor again or recommend it to anyone."

"Same scam as usual with low price online merchants. I ordered the Canon 10D with a couple of accessories and waited. I called to confirm that they got the order and was told that the reason that I was getting the cameral for $400-500 less than retail was because it was a "gray market" camera and would only come with a 7-day warranty and the instructions would be in Japanese. They did, however, offer the "US" model for retail ($1499) less a $150 "rebate." I declined. To their credit, there wasn't much of a hard sell and canceling was fairly easy, if they did cancel the order. He said they did. We'll see. This site is not as advertised. It's a bait and switch. I wouldn't bother if you are thinking of buying from the site."
