"After calling them back to "confirm" that I was a real person, they said they would get the product shipped and send me a tracking number. Never happened. Over a five day period I called no less than 20 times (always went straight to voice mail - no reply) I sent five emails and two other emails to the customer service department. I even tracked down the person listed as the owner and emailed him. Never heard back from anyone and never received my Yamaha RX-A2050 receiver. My card was charged the $1200 for the receiver. Now I have had to get bank involved to try and get a refund. just a freakin frustrating experience. NO WAY - I would recommend them or ever place another order here. "
"I bought a high-end Yamaha RX-A2050 A/V receiver from these guys. A heavy item, it was shipped by ground (free shipping), and I received it about a week after placing my order, which was to be expected. However, they did not send me a tracking number as promised or update my order status on their site when the item was shipped. Also, immediately after my order and prior to shipment, they left me a VM asking to verify my shipping address which is different from my CC address, and the sales department never answered my two callbacks on that. After reading reviews on this site, I was a bit worried. Much to my surprise, the item showed up yesterday (their site says the order is still being processed).
Except for the callback/status confusion, for which I am dinging them one star, an excellent transaction!"

"Don't believe all these negative reviews. If you buy a bigass TV there are some shipping costs - deal with it. This is an honest business. I purchased an AV receiver for an outstanding price (Yamaha RX-A1040 for $857). I did not hear for 2 days from them and started to freak after reading these reviews. Started a dispute at Paypal late night and got contacted the next morning by a person. Basically the email system did not work, but the unit was already under way - I just didn't get the confirmation email initially. Received the receiver 4 days after ordering it. John, Jesse called me back to make sure everything is cool.
You are dealing with REAL people here from a small operation and not some huge corporate vendor. If you can't deal with that, then you should really buy elsewhere.

"These guys are scammers and con artist. DO NOT BUY from these guys, you will waste your time. I read reviews and they were pretty bad; but I wanted to test if this will really happen to me also. Well, I found out the hard way. Any bad reviews you read on these guys are 100% true. They will have a cheap price on a product then call you and raise the price by $400 and up on top of the price for the item by making up a story about shipping and handling and insurance and all kinds of made up fees. This is so they can jack up the price so that it will be about the same price or more than purchasing at a reputable and legitimate store. Once I heard from this con artist that called me, I immediately had him cancel the order. Again, do not waste your time on this place. I do not know how these guys stay in business by scamming people. "
