"I bought a Canon Digital Rebel XSi/XS kit (bag, extra battery, filter) from these guys. They had the best price so I gave it a shot. The item arrived promptly and well-packaged. No problems, would purchase from here again."

"I bought a new lens for my Canon XSi camera. I was hesitant given the small number of reviews, but the price was too good to pass up. I ordered, paid for normal FedEx shipping, and the lens arrived 2 days later! It appears to be in excellent condition, and arrived faster than I could have dreamed. I would definitely buy from them again."

"My wife and I purchased a Whirlpool Over the Range Microwave over at Bernies. The unit was installed by technicians who worked for Bernies. No less than 24 hours after it was installed it was going haywire. The LCD was flashing on and off and the panel was blinking and displaying all kinds of strange letters and numbers at random. Then it ceased to work. I figured it would be no problem since it was essentially dead on arrival. I called Bernies and they said, "We will send out a repairman to fix it". I said I wanted it replaced with one that worked. I didn't fell it was right to have a brand new microwave oven repaired. If it was broken when it was delivered they should replace it. They didn't. I was told they don't operate that way. The repair rather then replace. This was a $600 piece of equipment and they would not replace it.

I would strongly advise never to buy anything from Bernies because if it malfunctions in any way it your tough luck. Apparently they don't sell products that work! I bought a broken microwave over from them and they said it was my problem. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with.

Under no circumstance would I recommend buying anything from Bernies. Suppose you buy a $4000 TV and it doesn't work. It's tough luck then. Your problem....not there's.

On another note......it is one month plus one day and it has yet to be repaired. The repairman ordered a part and it was delivered over a week ago. That is one full month from the day it was sold to us to today. Still not fixed.

Take my advice people. Do NOT buy anything from this company.

"I purchased a Sony Cyber-shot digital camera from Bernie's after researching several sellers and generally finding displeasure in the sorry ratings they were carrying despite their size and stature among other Web retailers. Bernie's had no feedback but after careful examination of their website I was convinced they were legitimate and an acceptable risk. They also had the best price for the product I was buying. Bernie's quickly processed my order, had a tracking number in my email box the following morning and the item arrived exactly when I expected. When I had a question about my order, I contacted Bernie's by phone, spoke to actual humans and, when I left a message on a voicemail, received a return phone call within 15 minutes. This is service that you just cannot get anywhere else, and I have done my fair share of Internet shopping. I learned after speaking with their Internet sales guru that Bernie's is a well-established chain of electronics/appliance stores in New England, but is brand new to the Internet retail game, hence the current lack of feedback on the Web. I can say, however, that I would not hesitate to buy from Bernie's again, and if they continue with the level of service they provided me it's certain they will enjoy more and more positive feedback from satisfied customers."
