AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!

"I ordered a monitor on 1/1 and they were closed for the holiday through the weekend. On 1/2, I found a few bad reviews regarding the monitor, that made me change my mind about buying it, so I decided to cancel the order.

I went on their site and found there was no way for me to cancel the order myself, and I could either email them at their support email, or fill out their form. So I proceeded to use their process to request cancellation. On Monday morning I received a reply telling me they acknowledged my request to cancel the order, and then about 30 minutes later I received an email stating that my order had been shipped.

I attempted to reach out to them again, but I have not heard back yet and I will now be charging back as they have incredibly poor customer service and support!

Do Not Shop At This Merchant, No Matter How Good Their Products Might Appear!

"BENQ's Rebate tactics are rather fraudulent than consumer oriented. I've been a victim of their dead-end rebate submitting system. I never received my $100 rebate for the purchase of a DLP PROJECTOR. I submitted all forms on time, however because of some problem in their system I never received the rebate. I keep calling them since October 2004 and this issue was never resolved.
I would keep away from this company and I would buy some other brand. If you see an offer from BENQ promissing rebates there's a big chance you won't get it. KEEP AWAY!

"** I'm a tad disturbed that BenQ never read this and responded, which means they don't know or care about this site. On the other hand, I spoke with Nicolette Hart with benQ and she has promised resolution to this issue. Of course, her idea of helping turned out to be blaming the reseller for offering the rebate incentive when they should not have... so I'm still minus a rebate. Thanks for nothing. **

Never received rebate for Monitor!! RebatesHQ is a non-existent company, I followed the terms and conditions thoroughly but was told I missed some imaginary submission date (only a purchase date was specified).

BenQ has this last opportunity to give me my damn $30 or feel the internet wrath!

"Prior to my purchase of an LCD monitor from this company, I sent them an email inquiring about their dead pixel policy on returns for refurb monitors, and got a very prompt response. I placed an order for a refurb FP557s 15" LCD monitor, and it arrived about a week later. I was pleased to find that there were no dead pixels at all."
