If only I had read these negative reviews earlier.
Previously had purchased from Beauty-Mart, no problems.
Placed order Tues Jan 8, 2013.
They were paid on Wed. Jan 9.
Received Customer Receipt/Purchase but have never received a shipping notification.
Have left phone messages and sent emails. They NEVER ANSWER THEIR PHONE...NEVER!!!!!
Afraid the company is in SERIOUS FINANCIAL TROUBLE.
I have lost $85.86.
I will contact BBB and whomever else in consumer protection to alert others. This website needs taken down from doing business online."
"I have purchased through their website twice before and not had a problem until this time. On December 26 I placed an order and recieved a confirmation email. My credit card was charged the next day. Here it is January 15 and I never received an email that the item has shipped, or the item itself. I have left 4 messages and sent at least that many emails, none of which have been responded to. My credit card company will dispute the charges, but has to cancel my card in order to do so. Too much of a hassle for $18, but I can assure you that I will NOT allow them to scam me again, and I highly recommend you NOT use them. They just take your money and don't respond to customer service complaints."
"I placed an order for 164.00 on December 9th. My account was charged right away and I received an email confirmation; however, I never received the order. I've called and emailed. Their phone lines go to voice mail instead of letting you hold for a rep. I have placed orders with them before with not problem but I will never order again after this. I've escalated my dispute with Paypal and will hopefully be refunded someday."
"Along with the sentiments that many others have expressed, I am one of those who did not research Beauty-Mart.com before purchasing from them. I am one of those who ordered a product and never received the item(s). I ordered from them on 12/02/12, received a prompt email regarding payment but received nothing else from them. After 7 days of emails and phone calls to the company, I realized that I needed to take swift action via PayPal in order to recover those funds, as I use PayPal for most credit card purchases. I opened a claim with PayPal post haste. A few days later, and still no response from Beauty Mart, I escalated the claim with PayPal. PayPal gave Beauty Mart until 12/20/12 to respond to the claim...they never did respond. Today PayPal informed me that a credit will be sent to my credit card company. Thank you PayPal! At any rate, there have been very few customers who have received prompt service from Beauty Mart. I HIGHLY recommend NOT PURCHASING from Beauty-Mart.com!"
"Horrible place to shop! I ordered on 11/12/12, and they are not answering phones and emails. Good thing I payed with payal that I got to open a dispute on this order. They did't even reply to my dispute, so I escalated right away. And now, a day before the escalation close, they mail me the products after a month and a half of the order. I already told them to cancel this transaction. But they ignored everything, and only mailed it when paypal was going to make a judgement on this transaction. What a horrible merchant. NEVER EVER SHOP THERE! FRAUD"
