"I have found most wet cell battery jump boxes rarely last a year even with use and routine charging. My grandson's Stanley FatMax (700 amp peak; 350amp nominal) battery jump box was NOT maintained properly nor even used as I could tell. Battery was completely dead after 5 yrs of laying in the back of his Cherokee. Thankful he never needed the jump or the air compressor but still it was as dead as Hillary's eyes. Stanley was NO help at all saying I should just junk it and buy a new one from them. Thanks, guys! I decided to open up the jump box, got the specs on a replacement battery and Battery Mart had the exact replacement. I saved 70% of replacement cost and did not litter the landfill. Recycled the dead battery locally.
Good service and fast shipping from Battery Mart. A bit concerned the new battery went from full charge (per the three status lights) to partial charge (2 of 3 lights) within 2 days....and no use. Hmmmmm.....we shall see how the battery lasts. I will charge it monthly as Stanley recommended. "
