"Placed an order for 12 cordless phone batteries on February 12, 2024. Batteries Direct charged my credit card the following day February 13, 2024. As of today, March 1, 2024, all I have is an order number. No product or shipping information. Sent four emails to their customer service department requesting order status and/or shipping information. No reply to any of the four emails received. Contacted my credit card company to report fraud (paid for product and nothing received). "
"Unlike a lot of other customers, I actually received my order.
I used a card with a $500 limit. The last time I used the card was July 13, 2020.
I used the card with Batteries Direct on 8/21/2022.
On 8/30/2022, an unauthorized charge appeared on the card for $418.45. It posted. More charges were attempted but declined due to the low limit.
The credit card has never left my house. I live alone and no one has had any access to it.
I would say the evidence is pretty strong that the fraud originated with my use of the card with Batteries Direct.

"Ordered a couple of Sanyo NCMQR06 AA battery chargers with 4 proper AA eneloops, not the cheaper "lite" version (these are best rechargeable AA batteries). They turned up just two days later, and are just what I wanted. Other Australian suppliers were more expensive. I could have purchased similar chargers from overseas slightly cheaper, but these were from and Australian supplier an so had Aus 240V plugs (no adaptor needed).
I'm happy and would purchase again from this seller."

they did refund my money and even offered to replace my phone system ($100 was indeed credited to my credit card) - since there was a possibility my charger had been damaged by these batteries.
