"National franchise for dog training. Local fellow (Seattle) gets good reviews on his methods but it is hard to get past their "franchise" policies. Hard sell for "packages" even though they "sell" you on custom training. Once I pushed them to live up to their custom training they became very disinterested in me and emailed me what to do. It's obvious they are trained to get a set $$$$$ from clients. $300 for "foundation" and then upsells to get more $$$$. Original email was misleading and when I brought that up to the local "manager" he said he would "look into that personally" (like he is too important to know the day to day operations!) and "get back to me Monday". Did not happen. Stay away from this "franchise" experience. Most areas of the country have local trainers that won't have to up sell along with their training services. Bark Busters is a scam."
