Great customer service!

"This is my first time ordering from Bare Necessities and their customer service is amazing. I ordered two bras and while they shipped it and the tracking said delivered, I believe the mailman put the parcel in the wrong locker and a neighbor took my package for themselves. I was really upset because I knew it wasn't Bare Necessities's fault as they did everything they were supposed to. My boyfriend was the one who called them because he saw how upset I was and the representative Kerri was so sweet! She issued me a refund so I could reorder the bras once the money is posted in my bank. I've been in a similar situation with a different retailer and they told me there wasn't anything they could do so I'm so grateful for Kerri! I haven't even received my order yet and I already know that I'm going to be a customer for life :)"

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY

"I am only leaving 1 star but only because I have to, otherwise I would leave zero. I placed an order for almost $500.00 and returned over $200 worth of clothing, requesting a RETURN. I was notified by email that I was given a VOUCHER. I called to get the refund and was told that the finance department would contact me in 3-4 days to give me options. The return policy stated any products returned within 30 days was eligible for for refunds, I sent these items back the very next day. I will never shop with this company again, and I will be leaving reviews on every forum. The customer service for this company is the absolute worst I have ever dealt with. The lady constantly interrupted me and rudely dismissed me several times. She eventually ended up hanging up on me. Her name was Ollie? I really hope the call was recorded and this person was fired. She does NOT have the necessary skills to be dealing with the public."

We deeply regret that you were not satisfied with your recent experience, which is why our supervisor reached out to you the following day to see how we could accommodate you for the inconvenience. Just to clarify, when a return is initiated on our site, the customer has the option to select if they would like their refund issued as a credit to their original form of payment, or in the form of a voucher for future use. In the instance that an option is selected by accident, we can always reverse that, and have no problem doing so. Upon review of your order, I do see that your voucher was reversed to a refund as per your request. We have been dealing with extremely high call volumes during the current pandemic situation - otherwise we would have been able to process that request within just one business day, but in this case it did take a few days due to increased demand. Again, we sincerely apologize for any issue that occurred with your recent order, and we do hope that you will reconsider and return to shop with us again in the future.”

Excellent product

" I don't normally leave reviews, but I love this company. I've been looking for a bra that fits right. I've tried adore me, third love, soma and none have been quite right. With Bare Necessities, even though I have the wrong size at this point it's still more comfortable than the others and their customer service is working with me to find the right size. (I've tried the customer service with the other brands with no luck) I have odd measurements which has been the challenge. They offer the largest variety and range of sizes that I've found."

0 star. BN could avoid these poor reviews by being straight with their customers and their product descriptions. Instead of gracefully refunding my money when they could not fulfill an exchange, they "credited" my account" without my approval. Having received a faulty product in the first place and paying for shipping twice, this is just insulting. Just refund my money and do not reply with a long apology saying your experts can help me find the right product. I will not be manipulated or condescended to.

Terrible customer service that all lie

"After placing an order at BareNecessities.com and paying for overnight delivery, at a great rate of only $5.00, it does seem it was too good to be true. I ordered on a Wednesday and was guaranteed By Friday. They never shipped the package and kept lying when I called saying it was shipped. Then on Friday the day it is suppose to be delivered I receive an email stating since they could not make the timeline they will not ship and start the refund process. This is NOT what I wanted , I wanted my merchandise. I said OK to deliver until Sunday I leave for a trip on Monday. They would not accommodate and really had no sense of care. "

Terrible Customer Service

"I ordered from Bare Necessites for years and spent hundreds of dollars. I recently logged into my account and my history showed "no orders". Numerous orders were shown the previous day. I contacted customer service and they told me they would research it and get back to me. After over two weeks of back and forth emails, always generated by me, since not once did they get back to me as they promised, I have finally given up on this company. I use past order history to reorder and check sizing so having my order history in my account is important to me. Terrible customer service!"

Double shipping costs

" Of course this isn’t the only company that practices this, but I really wish companies would stop double charging customers shipping cost. If I could go inside certain stores I would, but most places do not have a store. So you have to buy online. You have to pay shipping cost to have it sent to you. If it doesn’t fit properly or you do not like the item, you then have to pay another shipping cost or have the cost of deducted from your refund. I believe this is an unfair practice. I am a big busted woman, and most of my bras are overpriced as it is, and then I’m hit with double shipping charges if one bra doesn’t fit. It’s just not a fair practice in my opinion. "

Outstanding Customer Service!

"Bare Necessities has the BEST selection and a fantastic team of customer service representatives that are always super helpful and accommodating! They carry the best assortment of brands, and also have an amazing range of sizes to choose from (helpful for those like me whose size isn't a common one)! They have great solution pieces to wear under a fancy dress, and also have those tough to find accessories that help avoid wardrobe malfunctions! I highly recommend checking out the site if you are looking to purchase intimate apparel or swimwear or sleepwear! "

False sizing

"I waited a few weeks for my bras, which weren't cheap by the way, and when I finally got them I immediately noticed that the cups were TINY. They have them marked as a cup size larger than I ordered but they are at least four to five cup sizes smaller. Then, I read that I have to pay to return the items, when they are the one's who falsely advertise sizes. Rediculous! I will NEVER order from this company again. "

Bare Necessities is a Rip OFF.

"My wife ordered me some UGG Slippers. She ordered the same size that I wear in shoes. When the slippers arrived they were 2 to 3 sizes smaller. When I requested an exchange I was told they will charge me $6.95 for shipping. I said that their sizing is inaccurate and I wanted them to waive the fee. Apparently if I have 15 pairs of shoes in my closet that are all size 11 and one pair of slippers that are size 11 the other 15 pairs are at fault. Bare Necessities insists their sizing patterns are accurate and will not waive the fee. I suggest you choose another vendor since they have terrible customer service.

UPDATE: Afer I posted this review I decided to call Bare Necessities and advised them about my multiple negative reviews. The second customer service agent decided to reverse their policy and waive the $6.95 return shipping fee. She used the phrase "Mis Marked Size". I will wait and see if this situation resolves itself after I receive the replacement slippers and proper credits.

TERRIBLE DELIVERY! DON'T USE THIS WEBSITE!

"Ordered a MONTH ago. Had to do an exchange for size (which they charge for). Sent exchange back on 2/17. STILL Not here. Order has been delayed THREE TIMES. They use FedEx Smartpost which is basically the slowest possible way to ship something so - there you go. Tracking info reveals my parcel sitting in various cities for days at a time. Reached out to CS to get some help and they stopped responding after sending a mildly generic 1st email saying they could offer me free shipping on my next return. Not helpful at all. I would never refer anybody to this website. Order somewhere else - seriously. "

"I got my order. The only bra that matched underwear was missing. I called Bare Necessities and at first they didn't believe me. Then they said there was one left in my size and they would send it to me. I waited and waited. Then I called them, and they were out of my size, they just forgot to tell me. I'm returning the underwear and hopefully they won't charge me the 9.95 they charge you when you return things. Needless to say, I won't order anything from this overpriced and egotistic site again."

"Worst customer service ever not only did it take forever to get here but when I needed to return for different size they had nothing in same style. When I tried to order something different they said I could not use coupon because it was a different product. So I sent it back they lost part of the return and then charged me for return shipping which was supposed to be free they make it sound like they really want you to have a good fitting bra but their service says otherwise. It in total took me over a month to try on two bras I lost seven dollars and just barely got my money back but only cuz I called multiple times."

"It takes a LOT for me to write a review, especially a negative one, as I am more about praising those that do well. But I hope to save someone the experience I have had with Bare Necessities. Simply stated: HORRIFIC & HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE ALL THE WAY AROUND. Where to start...the return shipping service, the customer service reps, or the Bra fit experts which are also no experts at all. My story: I asked two different online bra fitting experts for help in getting the right size before placing an order to take advantage of a sale, what I got was two experts giving me a different size using the same exact measurements. I tried the one that made most sense and it turned out to be 2 sizes too big in the cup at least. BUT WAIT it is going to cost you $6.95 to ship just the one bra back using their prepaid provided label, and it will take over 15 days for them to receive it, and then up to 10 days to receive your refund... yet it only costs $2.09 in my case using USPS First Class Mail. Have you weighed a bra lately? About .5 ounces or less and yet they charge as if it was a basketball at $6.95. DON'T TRUST their online tracking system as it shows inaccurate information regarding your order. For example: it states my return has been processed on 2/11 and I received an email confirmation stating they received my return and issued a refund, yet I have not received any refund...and am still waiting 3 days later. I shipped the item back 2/4 and what should take 2 days from MA to NJ per USPS Customer Service is now going on 10 days and still "in transit" as their customer service reps indicate. So which is it? In transit or refunded...as I am not seeing the money at all. I honestly do not think the left hand knows what the right hand is doing. If you want less hassles, ship your return back using your OWN label...it will save you TIME and MONEY. $6.95 to return 1 bra is pathetic. IN FACT save yourself the hassles, frustration, and nightmare and DON'T SHOP HERE AT ALL. Check eBay as they have better pricing without a sale.

Lastly, I have had over 4 different customer service people assist me with this simple purchase of a bra that would fit, per the experts, and only ONE showed any care in helping me and doing right by the customer, however, you rarely get the same person when you contact them for an update or status, so you have others butting in and giving you even more caos. Why you cannot work with the one customer service rep you've been working with and has been helpful is beyond me. Adding in the others WILL make your life miserable, complicated, and frustrated. I will never shop with this store again no matter how good of a sale they may have. My first and only experience with this company is an F. They do not even deserve a 2nd chance because of all the ugliness in getting a refund for 1 bra purchased in the wrong size by a "non" exert bra fitter. I am now working with Paypal to get my money back on this purchase. Again, as it is worth stating twice: SAVE yourself the hassles, frustration, and nightmares and DON'T SHOP HERE AT ALL.
