"Bought a motor for Backyard Plus hooked it up and motor had an electrical issue.. Contacted BACKYARD PLUS I called and talked to Craig, he RIGHT AWAY wanted to make things right for us! He sent me a new motor the next day! I Installed once again and this spa PURRRRRSSS like a kitten! THANK YOU BACKYARD PLUS!!! CRAIG did an Amazing job getting us up and running before it gets hot! AAAA++++ from me!"

Great tech service

"After watching the you tube video on how to change the heater board on my Hot tub I decided to order from backyard plus. I contacted them and their tech support gave me the correct board. Delivery was incredibly fast. I installed the board and had a minor problem which their tech was able to help me correct over the phone. They also called later to verify everything was working properly. This was the best service I have dealt with. My 13 year old Hot springs Spa is working great. Also their price including shipping was the cheapest I found. "

Hands down the best!

"I have an older spa and was having a really hard time getting a replacement wet end for my pump. I even called the manufacturer but they couldn't help me either. Basically, I was looking at spending $400-$500 on a completely new pump, motor and all. I called Backyard Plus and they didn't have a replacement kit for my spa either, but they could get me all the parts I actually needed to fix the wet end. All I needed was a new impeller and seals/o-ring. Total after shipping was only $73.05! The parts arrived as promised in just two days and I got my spa up and running the day the parts arrived, thanks in part to the really helpful video tutorial Backyard Plus had up on YouTube. Great customer service. Great technical support. Fantastic value. I will always go to Backyard Plus first for all my spa needs from now on. I can't recommend them highly enough."

Great customer service

"I purchased a replacement moto-massage jet for my Hot Springs Spa. I couldn't get it to work right once installed. I called Technical Support and Manny patiently walked me through many diagnostic efforts. Together, we identified the fix and now the new spa jet works perfectly. Their prices are competitive, but their customer service outshines all others. I will go back for future spa part needs. "

Don't trust their techs!

"My hot tub stopped heating so I called backyard plus and talked to a tech advisor who walked me through some diagnosis on the tub. He asked about voltages on pins on the panel and I gave him the information. He determined the heater was bad and needed to be replaced (a $330 part). I specifically questioned his judgement because I had read on another page that if the heater ohm readings are right, chances are the heater is fine, and my heater did indeed ohm out correctly. He told me that quite often the heater is bad even with the right ohms, and "guaranteed" that it was the heater. I purchased the heater, and installed it... still no heat. I called a local spa service center and they suggested I look at the relay board. Sure enough, big hole burned in the relay board. Called backyard plus back, and spoke to customer service - they put me through to a tech who told me had he handled the call; he would have known it was the relay board, but not all techs have the same experience. I escalated to the highest level of customer service, and they said there are no "guarantees" that their techs properly diagnose - and there are no refunds on parts installed. Best they would offer is 10% off the part I actually needed, but told me I was on my own with the wrong part they told me to order, and that I should sell it on Ebay. Clearly they don't stand behind what their tech folks "guarantee". They are a good company to buy parts from if you KNOW what you need, but don't trust them to figure out what it is you need because when they misdiagnose, they don't stand behind the purchase they suggested you make."

"Not Good.

Had a major order that they required a signature for delivery. Could not be at home to sign for the order - Asked Backyards Plus to change the delivery to not require a signature but there policies would not allow them to dot this. They did however tell me that if the order had been split into two boxes (same parts -same total dollar value) then it could have been delivered. Because I could not be at home to sign and they could not flex their policy (even though I was willing to give them a waver) - The parts are being returned and I am just being charged the cost of shipping. I guess someone else will get this order in the near future.

I have to admit - they were more than willing to accept the parts back as It must be easier to return and restock rather than adjust the delivery requirement.

"BUYER BEWARE! BUYER BEWARE!
Ordered part from these guys, they sent wrong part. i tried to simply get them to send me the right part they said they didn't carry the part i needed so i asked for a refund. After pretty much calling me a liar that it was the right part, they refused to give me a refund because it had already been installed and removed. lol i had to remove it, it was the wrong part. It might of damaged other parts of my hot tub. I won't know that until i order the right part from a professional co.... BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!!!!

"i found this place because i got a 95 mendora hot tub. finding out that these tubs are not that common. These guys have anything i need for it and they ship pretty fast. They do have a dollar amount for shipping and i ended up paying more for shipping than i did the valve but it was still cheaper than local and other places i found online. Thank you for the good service and parts supply.

Ordered another part from them and the same great service. I have to say that i am inpressed with them. No problems or hassles. Now my hot tub is running and kids are happy---thank you
