I ordered some helicopter parts from them on 1/29/2005.
I was on vacation at the time; so I entered an unconfirmed address in Paypal to ship the product to where I was staying... and had my helicopter.
On Feb 5th; I still hadn't received the parts... so I sent them an email.
No response.
On Feb 8th; I send them another email... this time threating to file a chargeback claim with Paypal.
Backyardhobbies.com finally responded saying they cancelled my order because it didn't include a confirmed address.
Don't get me wrong; I don't have an issue with them cancelling my order because they were afraid of fraud... but I DO have a SERIOUS issue with them not notifying me withing a reasonable time frame! Also, they "held" my paypal money for 10 days ... they should have refunded the money as SOON as they decided they weren't going to ship the material.
If you must do business with these yahoo's; protect yourself."
