"I was going to buy a Sony Professional Camcorder from them so I emailed them and asked about warranty service. They replied that the camera came with an "international warranty". To clarify, I called their office - twice - no answer. I then called the Sony Warranty center in New Jersey and asked about coverage. They told me that unless the camera has a USA warranty they would not help me. As if that's not bad enough, their return policy insists upon an RMA number. If they don't answer the phone for a sale, how will they respond for a return? "
