We have had great success with BSW since the early days of our program. Our first purchase was probably about 5 years ago. It was a BPH1 headset microphone. We actually had ordered a small hand mic and was shipped the BPH1 by mistake, a bit of divine intervention since I am legally blind and have to get close to the screen or pages I am reading. The headset was a great choice. Last year we got another BPH-S1 for my co-host and a DR-40 portable recording system to take on the road and do interviews with. In a matter of days, I will be off with my band to Pigeon Forge TN to compete in the North American Country Music Association International's annual competition. My band is a gospel group called The Greatest Gift. I plan to snag some interviews with gospel performers while in TN, and for that purpose, We ordered a couple of Tascam battery operated condenser microphones along with some desktop mic stands. The mics were tested (had to turn the recording volume up quite a bit, but other than that, the mics work great) and everything is packed for the trip. BSW came through for us again and their shipment was superfast. I also love the little candies that come in the packages. Would love to order a bunch of those :-) "

These units are durable and pretty accurate, especially considering their cost. If you are using them for live play by play events they are perfect.

If you want to mix a live classical concert using them, then you may want to investigate different options, such as noise cancelling headphones."
