"I have 3 BMWs. I bought all used, out of factory warranty. People warned me that I’d go broke on maintenance & upkeep. I initially went to the local dealer for factory original parts as I started to refurbish the cars. The prices were ridiculous, as I was advised. Funny enough all the dealers in So Cal were quoting the same MSRP over the counter. I stumbled on this NorCal resource that is selling dealership parts not as a dealership and at a significant discount. Better yet, you select parts using the same on-line factory catalog tools the dealer’s counter guys are using with exploded views of the car. This enables you to see all the fasteners, washers, etc. and how things fit together. Shipping charges are reasonable and the net cost (with shipping) is cheaper than the independent import boutique parts houses. Costs, both dealer MSRP and discounted sale prices are visible from illustrated factory catalog. No hidden prices, waiting for quotes. Shipment is super prompt and they do read the shipping notes and accommodate any special issues.
I’ve saved a fortune on parts (literally thousands) for all the routine maintenance items, and doing my own labor saves me $260 an hour for someone to swap parts. With these savings, the cost to operate my BMWs is no more expensive than my Toyotas or Hondas. I do compare prices on every purchase I make and in every case so far, they beat both the dealer OTC and boutique shop prices for genuine parts."
"I'm thankful that BMW Monterey had the part I was searching for. Payment was easy. I received an email stating that I would be notified when item shipped. A week later and nothing. I emailed to get the disposition of my order. Granted, my order was very small, however, some communication as to when it shipped or was going to ship would seem to be in order. I did receive this information after sending in my inquiry. Overall it took 13 days. Don't forget the small guys with the older bimmers. "
"Slow shipping. The worst part is my order was made on Tuesday 2AM and the label was created on Friday 4PM. Email them my concern and was told I should've gone to my local dealer if I want my parts sooner. I live about an hour from BMW Monterey. Probably on next Tuesday I won't be getting my parts still. Very ineffective and unprofessional to have my label created on Friday 4pm and let it sit in the warehouse. "

"I searched all over for High Power BOSCH ZR5TPP33S Spark Plugs for my 2015 BMW 535i.
