"I had my grill installed 2 years ago. The contractor building my island said I didn’t need to buy the insulated box that he could build one. My island caught on fire about 2 months ago because it had been charing the wood frame he build for support of the grill and poured concrete top. It could have been a disaster if my grandson had not suspected something because it kept smoking even after the gas was turned off for over 2 hours. I ordered this so I don’t have to worry about that happening again. This area is all attached to my home and I could have lost my home and possibly my life if I had gone to sleep unaware there was a slow smoldering fire under the poured concrete island top. "
