Still waiting for a refund nearly a year later

"As long as you never cancel a flight or need a refund this airline is at best okay. Had rescheduled a flight in July 2017 for the additional fee of $300, and when flight had to be changed yet again I mistakenly thought it would be cheaper to cancel it and lose $150 in cancellation fees rather than pay an additional $300 change fees, which would add up to far more than the original ticket cost. Upon calling the customer service line I was instructed to cancel my flight online. I did so but was not told I needed to request my refund online. When I called two months later and found that out I did so in September 2017, and since then I have called countless times and a case has been created to expedite my refund countless times. In February 2018 my refund was finally authorized. It is now May 2018 and my refund has not been issued. No matter how often I call or how many emails I send, if I hear anything at all I am merely told that my request has to go to management for approval and a new case to expedite your refund will be created. Refund has been authorized for more than three months; no additional approvals should be required. There should be several boxes of new cases created on my behalf alone, so these are plain and simple lies. This company has had over $750 of my money for more than eight months which they are probably collecting interest on. I am never flying this airline again; I will take a boat if it is the last airline left on earth. "
