Scammers

"Ordered online. Price plus shipping. When product was received shipping was over $10 more than what it said online. Had to call multiple times to get some sort of resolution. They gave me a credit instead of a refund. I’m a one time shopper. Very disappointed. "

Terrible Experience, Poor Customer Service

"Bought a large bird cage, the MA3824FL Sandstone - 38''x24''x67'' Elegant Flight Cage.
The package looked damaged when we got it and sure enough there were several things wrong. Several of the cage wires were bent and the worst part was the bottom tray way dented, creased, and had chipped paint. Also the perch was missing.
Contacted them, and got jacked around by them repeatably. They sent out touch up paint but the tray needed replaced. They finally sent a tray, but it was the wrong one. a different cage tray entirely. Huh? I called, they said out of stock and would get one sent from China, maybe 3-4 months they said. It never arrived, so I called again, then they said they knew nothing about it. I explained it all again and after a difference of opinion with "Brent". I'm out of luck.
That guy Brent is an idiot and worthless.
Lesson learned, never buy anything from A & E Cage or their online site Avian Emporium.
I've bought tons of stuff online, from all over , for years, and this was the worst experience I've had. They take customer service to a new low. Buyer Beware.

I needed to buy a cage for my scarlet macaw.
I looked at kingscage, but I really liked this for its design and it's a nice size for my parrot. When I ordered it. Brent at Avian Emporium told me it will be a week or due to backorder. I said ok no problem. My scarlet macaw was taking over my apt. I could not wait. After the one week wait the shipping company failed to follow their schedule and the delivery was delayed for another week. Aside from been very inpatient and very upset Mr. Brent at Avian Emporium told me please hold on I am trying my best. And that he did very well, which is what kept me going on.


        I would just like tell you thank you for all of your hard work and your help. I have just received the toys you sent for Meko (scarlet macaw ). They are all beautiful toys I love them I know he will also. I am very greatful for all of your help and great work. Thank you very much. I will always be purchasing  from you. I will definitely recommend you friends or anyone that asks about the cage or the toys. Once again thank you very much from the bottom of my heart. I am very happy and greatful for the service and professionalism you have provided while trying to get me the cage. I would rate you and your company with a 5 star ratting. Please if anyone is reading this please purchase from Avian Emporium, you will not regret it. Ask to speak to Brent he is the man.

"I purchased a cage from Avian Emporium and it took 3 days to ship and when I received the cage there was a part missing which prevented me from putting the cage together. I emailed Avian Emporium and was told "We do not carry parts here so I will need to contact avian adventures. Once I hear from them I will let you know." to date no response after several more inquires. "

"I place two different orders from this company. The first one I did not receive all the items and had a back order. I called to ask when the back order should be in and no one seem to know. So I cancelled the back order and it took over a month and a half to receive a complete refund for the cancelled item and the item not shipped to me. The second time I place a order they called and said they did not have the main item I was purchasing so I cancel the whole order because I didn't want to pay shipping on2 different orders. They never initiated a refund until I call a week later asking for it. It took over a month and they gave me a partial refund. I kept calling and getting the run around on the rest of my refund which got no where. I initiated a paypal dispute which they never responded to by the deadline. Paypal gave me the rest of my refund. This company does not know what they are doing or just plain doesn't care."

"Because I had a previous bad experience ordering this rather expensive cage from another vendor, I sent Avian Emporium an email with a lot of very specific questions about concerns I had, prior to placing an order.

They responded within a few hours and answered all of the questions truthfully. I decided to order from them, and they kept me advised with daily (sometimes several per day) emails. Great customer service and attention to detail.

I highly recommend these folks if you need any of the stuff they sell.
