Shoe Makers

"I had 2 things done here,first of all I own a brand new 2016 F150 in which they put a drop in bed liner,after inspecting the bed liner I found the driver side inside part of the bed to be all scratched up,this must of been done during inexperienced installation of my bed liner.Also there was a rubber tail gate stopper removed during the installation that was not putty back on and noticed my truck all a sudden started to maker a banging noise after going over a bumps,I took it back and they found the piece and put it back on.
I also had a leather interior installed into my brand new truck by them, that looks like an amateur installed, it's loose as a goose after 2 tries of fixing it I brought it to a professional.Dont let them touch you Vehicle!

I misjudged them; they're great!

"After I placed a large order with Autotoys, I decided to look around at reviews after my order had been in the processing stage for a couple of days. Most reviews were good, but I noticed quite a few that seemed to imply that they were scammers, or that their products were junk, or that they weren't helpful. Considering that it was a $300 order, and the fact that Ive been scammed before, I immediately went ballistic, and fired off a nasty, threatening letter to Autotoys, basically saying that I would not be scammed, and would involve federal authorities.
I was an ****.
As it turns out, my order was already on its way. Despite my nasty attitude, the staff were polite, professional, and courteous every step of the way. I received everything (multiple shipments, but just one shipping charge), today,and all products were brand-new, still in original wrappers, with full instructions for each item. After about 15 minutes worth of sorting everything out and reading directions, I was ready to go. First, I took out the 6-cd changer and connected the coax to the dsp.I then connected the stereo RCA cables to the Grom 6-pin, while connecting the Grom's 3-pin (power) to the one that was feeding the CD player. The only thing left was getting switched power to the DSP. I used these special 22-25 gauge taps that allowed me to tie in the DSP's red wire to the CD player's red wire, then the dSPs black wire to the CD player's brown wire. I ran that cord up to the grom in the front of the car, where I set up a USB port for my Android music (Tidal),or for plugging in flash drives full of FLAC files. It also has a Bluetooth setup that allows hands-free operation of the phone. Altogether, about an hour's work (granted, I still have to set up jacks and run wires neatly) and everything works and sounds great ! Thanks, guys

"My order came in as advertised which is a good thing but that's what is expected these days.
In addition to fulfilling my order my request for access to uncut videos was granted with the quickness! I am most impressed with after sell service. Thanks again Autotoys we will do business again!

Awful website/service

"After ordering headlights and not receiving any tracking information a week later i looked up reviews and saw many people believe the sight to be a scam and i emailed (since they have no phone numbee) asking to receive tracking information or to have my order canceled and my money refunded. Over another week later i still had no information, no response, and my account debited for the headlights. I then again sent them an email and have had no response. Awful customer service and questioning if i will ever get either my item or my money refunded to me. Awful website and i will never recommend."

problem solved

"The Autotoys support staff helped this "do it your selfer" get my adapter working as advertised.
I can now listen to my cell phone music through my stock stereo and didn't have to pay an expensive technician or buy a new stereo. After having some issues with the initial install, I was able to trouble shoot with the support staff via daily email and got it done. Money well spent.

AWFUL!!!!

"I ordered a product for my boyfriend's birthday. I paid for 3 day shipping, I received it almost 2 weeks later. Then once we received the product it was inoperative. So I shipped it back accordingly, waited almost 2 weeks then emailed them (Because they apparently don't have a phone number) asking what the status of my return was. They kept sending me automated messages that NEVER answered my question. It has been another 2 weeks since they said the resent me the product and still have not received it. I ask for tracking number and never receive it. Seriously awful customer service. The most unprofessional people I have ever dealt with in my life. Can't wait to receive my product and hopefully never have to deal with them again. "

Amazing

"After searching for ideas on how I could install Bluetooth in my escalade I found Autotoys on YouTube.I decided to to go to their website to see if they did installations which they did since I live in NYC. The process was easy and they were extremely reasonable and professional .They arrived early for the appointment and once he was done he explained everything clearly (which I appreciated because I'm not so good with the technical stuff) Anyways they were AWESOME and I have already referred friends to use them . The product works great in my truck and I haven't had any issues or concerns. Customer service is very helpful and they respond back unlike other companies I have encountered . Don't hesitate to try them out.Hope this helps :) "

"I am very satisfied with the product. I was somewhat disappointed that there wasn't a video for USA SPEC BT45ACU. However I was able to find a video on youtube of a guy installing this unit so all was sorted out. I did run into a problem because I am a man and I don't need manuals as carefully as I should. I was able to jump on the autotoys website and the chat specialist was able to sort it out for me. One star deducted for no video. "

"Though some time had passed since my original order, it had to do with older equipment no longer manufactured. Autotoys supported me until we got the problem figured out. "Auto toys accepted my order and took full payment in December 2014. It was processed on the 6th of January 2015. It is November 2015 and they have not delivered the product or refunded my money. They will not answer emails or send updates.

Auto toys are the worst company I have ever dealt with. I cannot recommend them to anyone and warn every one to be very cautious if you choose to deal with them.

"Ordered a Grom Audio Bluetooth kit through Autotoys.com about a month ago. Very satisfied with the product and price. Price is why I purchased on Autotoys. Here's what I didn't care for about the company. HORRIBLE customer service if you do not prompt your emails as URGENT. They have about 5 different levels of email priorities you can chose from; starting with STANDARD all the way up to CRITICAL. After purchasing the order and not hearing from Autotoys for almost a week, I decided to send them an email. I wasn't in the biggest rush, so I chose the STANDARD priority. Nothing. Send another STANDARD priority email the next day, nothing. Sent another STANDARD priority the third day, nothing. Finally, when I sent the email on the higher priority they have (URGENT) and telling them I would give them a horrible review if I did not hear from them, I finally heard from them the next day! Then when I did here from them, they said my order will be shipped straight from the manufacture within the next 2-3 business days, which translates to them barely acknowledging my order after almost two weeks. Had I not sent all those emails, who knows how long it would have took! If you're going to order from this company, email them from the very begging and always send your emails URGENT status or higher. Seems to be the only way they will acknowledge you. "

"I ordered an ARB 63QT Freezer/Fridge from autotoys.com since their price was almost $200 less than any other vendor I could find.

After ordering, thinking this was too good to be true, I decided to check for complaints against autotoys so that I could cancel my order through paypal if I needed to take any action. I found this site that has a lot of complaints about autotoys.

I want to share with others my experience.

First my order was processed and I was charged for the product within a few hours.
I heard nothing more from them for over 2 business days (ordered Thursday morning, emailed Monday morning requesting status, received response Monday night that the status would be updated shortly). Finally received a UPS shipping notification 4 business days after my order and received the product 6 business days after initial order. Not bad for a product weighing 70lbs.

Though their communication could have been a little better, I received exactly what I ordered in a reasonable amount of time and paid a lot less than I would have if I went through any other vendor.

I am extremely happy with my purchase and the service I received through autotoys.com.

"Listing products no longer made and out of stock. They take the order anyway and then do not notify you that the item is not in stock. When I eventually contacted them after several weeks to understand why I had not received the item they tried to sell me something else. They did refund my money when they saw this review so I've revised it from one star to two."
