"AVOID this seller. Purchased a KwikStart charger for emergencies. This was supposed to be one of the higher end brands. When I got it I followed the instructions on charging. I didn't use it because I had no need to at the time.
When I did it had been six months. Even after I explained to the seller that it was never used and was sent to me DOA. Their response: "Send it to the factory" Now this thing weighs 20lb and you have to pay shipping and they prorate the battery in it so you have to pay so much a day until it is in their possession.
I explained to the seller that this was a little different since it arrived defective and though maybe they would show some good customer service. You can look at this and tell it has never been used. I will never purchase anything from them again and advise friends and family to do the same. They have zero customer service. Their attitude is just suck it up. This was a $167 learning experience."
"I ordered 2 Milwaukee grease guns which offered a free extra battery with each. Received my order very promptly. The extra batteries were not included so emailed them asking if they were shipping separately and received response saying sold out of extra batteries sorry. Complaint sent to BBB of false advertising and the general manager closed the case saying they were not going to include the extra batteries. buyer beware!!!!!!!!!!! Would never deal with this place. Customer service is they are right and you are Wrong no matter what.

"I placed an order with automotivetoolsonline last Wednesday, (Jan 18th) and it arrived today. (January 24th) Everything was packed very well, the box arrived in great shape and the order was exactly as expected. I received an email notification that the order was received and ready to ship. (Tracking number included) I also receievd a confirmation email that the package haad been delivered. The price was about 20% less than I was able to find anywhere else. I have nothing but good things to say about the company and service. Highly recommend them."
"The fastest I have ever received an online order. I reside approximately 300 miles from this company and placed the order at 1:00 PM Jan. 9th received the item via UPS 4:00 PM Jan 10th. "After my grandma locked her keys in her car with it running, I ordered an unlocking kit online (Lock Technology LTI140). Automotive Tools Online had the best price for the kit I wanted, and I searched dozens of websites before ordering. The website has multiple methods to make payment including Google and Amazon checkouts.
I received an order confirmation after placing my order, but no shipment notice. And the website has no account section to log into to track orders. The order arrived in a timely manner, but providing tracking info is a convenient industry standard. This was my only complaint throughout the process."
"I ordered tools to perform a job, as a mobile farm mechanic time was essential, however, when I received the order (poorly packaged also), there was a handwritten note saying the most important tool was back-ordered. They made no indication it was out of stock on the site, at checkout, with the order acknowledgement, or any follow up e-mails. I tried to contact the site, but they list no phone number or provide any phone service. In further research I found through the better business bureau the company is owned by mechanics tool supply inc., and also runs the site mechanicstoolsupply.com, with higher prices for the same tools, and no customer service support. It took multiple e-mails to get them to respond, when they told me they cancelled my back-order and refunded my money without any choice for a substitute tool or shipping refund. Lesson: you get what you pay for not only with product but also with customer service."

"I placed an order on Monday and recieved it on a Wednesday. Two days to get from Indiania to Maryland via regular UPS ground is really good. Everything I ordered was exactly as expected and I would order from them again. The only thing that was even remotely questionable was that the order confirm email was blank except for the subject line. I would definately order from them again!"

Their customer service phone number rings over to a recorded message, but they returned all of my emails within minutes of being sent. They were able to assure me that the item was in stock and would arrive in time.

"I ordered an Equus 5568 Pro timing light late afternoon on Friday 10/02/2009 and UPS delivered before noon on Wednesday 10/07/2009. The order process and shipment went smoothly. I did send them an email on Tuesday questioning when my order would be shipped and delivered and within a couple hours I was notified by Automotive Tools Online and by UPS that it had been shipped and was scheduled for delivery the following day.
The price on the tool was very good and shipping charges were reasonable.....I would order from them again. Thank You
