"These people are thieves. Completely incompetent. Ordered a part, it was faulty. I returned it costing another £10. 6 weeks later I am still waiting for my refund. Keep getting told Steven deals with refunds but he is either no longer alive or never works. Now looking at taking action against them. DO NOT USE THEM. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE"

"I ordered parts from this company which turned out to be parts for a completely different vehicle. When I tries to return them I was given a run around on how the parts were to be returned. When they confirmed that they received the parts I was out-right lied to with respect to my refund. I should have listen to my mechanic who warned me that first I would never receive the correct part and if I requested a refund it would be a long time coming if at all. He was correct on all accounts."

"I placed an order for 5 different parts, one of which was a "Tail Pipe Chrome Tip" for my Volvo. When I received the parts, I found that the tail pipe tip was nothing more than a piece of unpolished stainless steel pipe. I immediately contact AutoPartsWorld and the individual I talked to agreed with me that the part was mislabeled (he looked at the description and a picture), and he said I would get a full refund, including my return shipping since it was mislabeled (I did get an RA#). Here I am writing a review in March of 2010 because I still have no satisfaction from the company, going on a year later. I called them dozens of times in 2009, and I was always told that I had a full refund coming (~$56.00), including shipping. Finally, a partial credit for $33.60 was made to my account on 11/5/09, about 7 months after the initial problem. Continued calls about why the refund was partial have gotten me nowhere, and very quickly the customer service people knew my phone number and hung up on me, if you can believe that! Of course now it's become a matter of principle. I've written emails to them, written through their online contact form, and have received not a single reply. And now I notice that they have removed all indications of location and ways to complain from their web site. I will definitely stay away from this company and their associate, DriveWire.com. There is simply no excuse for their lack of communication, not returning many phone calls and emails, and making me pay for their mistakes."

"I have shopped this company many times for auto parts and have always been satisfied with the service and products. But that has recently changed. My last order for a water pump was filled, product recieved and installed. Unfortunatley, I had the old pump off the car and ready to install the new one when I saw that the casting for the housing was defective, very little material around the od of the slotted hole. In the process of installing, this part of the housing crumbled and I was left with a big problem. I had to install the pump as the gasket was glued to it and I had to get my car running. I contacted Auto Parts World via email, no reply. I called and was given a new number, which is out of service. I tried to email again, no reply. Now stuck with a defective pump and no one helping to resolve the issue. Can not believe this company has changed so much and is not a company anyone should deal with as they do not stand behind their product or service. I am cheated out of a new pump and now must go buy one locally as I can no longer wait for resolution of this issue."

"Ordered an alternator and paid a refundable core deposit. I returned the core the next day. It is now 3 months later and the core charge has not been refunded. I placed numerous calls to Autopartsworld.com and continue getting the same story on how the credit is being processed. After some review, I noticed my credit card showed the merchant as "drivewire.com" not from autopartsworld.com where I placed my order. I looked at drivewire.com reviews and it is plagued with complaints. I was a very good customer of Autopartsworld.com and will never go back."
