"I purchased an "Aussie Mystery Deal" from this site through PayPal and sent them 2 emails requesting status of delivery with the last one dated 3/01/08 (one month after order). After getting no response, I finally reported them to the PayPal Resolution Center and all of a sudden they became more responsive. They sent me back an email asking if I still wanted the product shipped within 1 to 7 days or a refund. I requested the product, but after 2 weeks I had to send them another email asking where it was. They finally just credited my PayPal account and I didn't lose any money, but what a big waste of my time. I hope this isn't a normal representation of Australia !!"

Well, I'm here to tell you that my experience proves this quite untrue!
It started when I asked for tracking information and it took a lengthy email exchange to finally get the tracking number. From order to delivery, it was THREE weeks!
I then discovered that this merchant had the merchandise drop shipped from another merchant (thus explaining why they could not immediately provide tracking information). Aussiedealz.com charged a few pennies more (4 cents USD, to be precise) and charged an outrageous amount for shipping ($7.50 USD per item) FOR WHAT I WOULD HAVE GOTTEN FOR FREE IF I HAD FOUND THE MERCHANT FROM WHICH THEY HAD THE ORDER SENT! That's right: they charged me for what would have been free shipping if I'd ordered direct.
To add insult to injury, this was supposed to be a special "del-of-the-day," but the lower price and free shipping are still available from the dropship merchant.
Well, it's caveat emptor out there, baby. I wrote to raise the issue with mild chastising and never even received a reply from aussiedealz.com.
The least I can do is leave a warning here. Check what this merchant wants to charge you: odds may be good you can do a little more surfing and get it cheaper.
