Rip off / Scam. Never Received Item

"I ordered a star wars canvas poster from their website from an ad on Facebook that I saw. Trusting that Facebook did their due diligence and wouldn't allow fraudulent companies to advertise on their website I ordered the poster. I received and an email saying my order is on the way with a tracking number. I'ts been over 12 days and my so called tracking number has not updated and it just says "we've accepted your order and we're getting it ready. Come back to this page for updates on your shipment." When I googled Atomic Deals this was one of the first hits along with other rip/scam reviews. Also what showed up on my bank statement was called "STEAMPUNKSTOPCO" and not Atomic Deals. I googled STEAMPUNKSTOPCO and I found the same type of reviews. I did not find a phone number on atomic deals website either, just a customer support email that I have not heard back from. If anyone does find their number please reply to this post b/c i'd like to call and find out whats happening. After reading other people's reviews with the same problem I believe they are ripping people off. I urge people to avoid Atomic Deals."

"Do not buy ..DO Not BUY..from these people..they are a scam company..who also uses the name steampunk...will not answer emails..BEWARE...I hope the attorney general will prosecute them..I'm out 80 dollars from august 2016..scam ..scam"

Purchased August 2016, Still Waiting, January 2017

"As others have stated, Made a Birthday purchase in August, Company took our money, sent the confirmation e-mail, and NO PRODUCT, I have sent numerous e-mails, almost every two weeks. It is now January 17, 2017, and I have not received even a response from their zen-desk. It's just a lamp! I am not going away, I am very disappointed that a company can ruin a kids birthday! "Atomic Deals, You should be ashamed of yourselves!! If anyone read this, Blast this message out over social media, and lets put these scumbags out of business. "

Never got item

"Don't waste your time or money, going on 4 months and still don't have item, they have told me twice it was shipped with tracking number and never arrives, going to just have paypal handle, very frustrating as purchase was a gift and well past the event. Wouldn't even give 1star it that was an option."

Will never use them again!!!!

"Placed an order on 8/16/2016, still have not received my product, all they do is send me emails that is has been shipped, then I receive an email today with tracking, it was shipped yesterday after they received yet another email from me. This is a horrible way to run a business.. Will never use them again."

"I purchased christmas gifts for the family last year and thought i was getting a good deal. It seems that my two items lasted longer than all of yours but now i am totally lost at what to do. I purchased an xbox 360 and an akai tv. I spent over $800 on the two items and now i am stuck with junk and no way to contact them.
Any ideas from anyone would be greatly appreciated. please send replies to my emails. The kids are so upset that they cant play rockband and i am wondering if i should just go out and buy them a new one and a new tv as well.

"I purchased this GPS from atomic and it doesn't work. Since May I have tried to call them and nobody answers the phone. I send emails asking for authorization to return for credit and no answer to the emails. I stopped at the address on their website and nobody answered the door. I have purchased several products from Atomic in the past and was always happy with the product. With this experiance I could not buy from them again."

"These guys are terrible. We purchased a "refurbished" Scooba iRobot which clearly wasn't refurbished, but rather used. It was filthy and disgusting. I contacted them about their satisfaction guarantee and was told the only thing they could do was issue me a credit for shipping charges. My husband contacted them and was told to contact iRobot directly. I contacted iRobot and was redirected back to Atomic Deals. I have called at least 10 times (at various times during the day) and not once has anyone answered the phone. I sent another email to customer support with no response. I "googled" their company and found the email address to their EVP, sent him an email this morning and yet again got no response. At this time my husband and I will take a more formal response and file a complaint with the Attorney General as well as the BBB. If anyone has another way to get a resolution, please let me know!"

"I am in the same boat as you all. I purchased mine during the same time frame as you and have also been unable to get my refund after they agreed to pick it up and issua me a refund. any luck at all? My emails and calls have also not been returned since Feb. I'm sending in a letter to the Attorney General of MN and already submitted my complaint to BBB."

"I too purchased an X-box 360 from Atomic Deals. I gave it as a Christmas present and it failed 10 days later. Atomic Deals promised a full refund and issued a refund authorization and a call tag. The prodcut was picked up in January and I have been trying to get the refund ever since. They do not answer the phone or respond to emails. I have filed a report with the BBB in MN and will be filing a complaint with the Attorney General's office of MN. I would suggest other unhappy customers do the same. I am currently working with my credit card co to get my money back."

"Dealing with Atomicdeals.com was a terrible mistake. I tried to take advantage of a deal on a "refurbished" xbox 360, which was anything but refurbished. It arrived dirty, worn, and obviously used. It did not come with the headset as advertised. Upon inspection of the power supply, it was apparent that it had been subject to extreme heat of some sort, as the plastic around the connector was melted and the contacts were black. Consequently, this power supply would not power the console. I borrowed a power supply from a friend to make sure that there was nothing wrong with the xbox, and it powered up and seemed to operate ok besides having a hard drive that wasn't cleared and running very loudly. I called Atomicdeals.com at least 30 times over the course of a few days and NEVER talked to a person. I left several messages and never got a call back. The only response I got back was an email, referring me to a 3rd party that apparently did the "refurbishing" and could honor a warranty. This third party had no knowledge of AtomicDeals.com and laughed when I asked if they would honor a warranty. I attempted to contact AtomicDeals.com again via email (since apparently nobody actually works in their office) to attempt to have the power supply replaced or to return the whole thing, and have not heard back since. Power supplies retail for $100. I could have purchased a brand new xbox for the amount I will probably end up having to pay to get the xbox to work, and who knows how long it will actually work.

I DO NOT recommend dealing with AtomicDeals.com in any way. Their products and actions are typical of an internet company trying to scam a few people out of money. I will edit this if I get any updates, but I seriously doubt I will hear from them.

STAY AWAY FROM ATOMICDEALS.COM. It's just not worth it.

"I have purchased several items from Atomicshopping (which is now called Atomicdeals). I didn't have any problems with an order or with the items I received until I ordered the refurb Xbox 360. It had a bad power supply and was replaced without much hassle. The problem was that when it powered up I got the RRoD. I called MS and could not get it fixed according to them. I then contacted AtomicDeals and was told I could get a refund. I received the RA# and Fedex came and got it on Jan 16th. It was delivered to Minneapolis on Jan 22. I have since called probably 100 times or more to find out why I didn't receive a refund. I can never get an actual person but have left many messages. They have yet to reply to any of my messages and I left both my home and cell number. It is now April 10th and I believe I'll have to contact my credit card company to dispute the charge. I will not buy from AtomicDeals unless I get some sort of incredible response to this problem soon. "

"Purchasing Role: Gamer looking for a bargain
Comments: I "got in the deal" for the Xbox 360 (Refurbished) on the 27th of July. According to the information provided during the sale, the units were fully refurbished and held their original warranties, plus a three year warranty for the "Red Ring of Death" (aka Hardware Failure) I received my 360 several days ago and began searching for a VGA cable for it so that I could begin using it. I did open the box to verify the contents, and was appalled by the state of the unit and controller, which were both covered in dirt, handprints, and, in the case of the controller, dirt and grease were literally all over the unit. It took me about an hour to clean the controller. When I got the cable yesterday, I eagerly rushed home only to find that, after about two minutes of operation, the unit went back to Red Ring of Death status. I completed the troubleshooting and contacted Microsoft to have it sent in only to be told that the unit is out of warranty (except for the RRoD issue, luckily), is registered to someone else (but the CS rep changed that for me), and has never been sent in to MS for repairs or refurbishing, though there was an open work order to have that done - the console simply never got sent in.

I have contacted AtomicShopping, and they assure me the unit was refurbed. If it does not work after further work by MS, I was told I can return it for a full refund. Mind is more at ease now!

Update: I got my xbox 360 back from Microsoft several weeks ago now. I say back, but what they did was completely replace the console, so I now have a new 360 with the full warranty re-instated. After the hassle, atomicshopping really can't be blamed for something that may really have simply failed just after I turned it on, so I am going to increase my rating to a reasonable level for what happened.
