"I tried to buy a used rod that was advertised online for $225 or best offer. When I asked him to send me a picture he said he was too busy. When I tried to drive the 2.5 hours to the store, he said he wouldn't be there, as he was going fishing. When I made him an offer of $200 plus the actual shipping cost for the rod by email he ignored it and didn't respond. He lists multiple rods as for sale at discounted prices because he says he kept the deposits from the original buyers. It would seem the people who gave those deposits didn't receive responses from him either. I'd like to warn others not to provide him with more "deposits"."
