STAY AWAY FROM AZGARDENS.COM

"I just ordered some fish from there - what a mistake. I wish I had seen all the negative reviews earlier. 6 of the 30 fish I ordered died within a day, but outside their 4 hour allowed window, so they denied my request for reimbursement. As the other reviewers have said:

DO NOT BUY FISH from this company EVER!

"I read these reviews way too late.
I ordered 5 Kuhli Loaches and 6 Dwarf Cory’s .
1). The shipping was late and I paid their expensive price for 2 day shipping.
2). The package arrived late and was shipped parcel package by USPS and these were live animals and not plants or fish food.
3). Because the live fish were sent USPS.. the box was place in the regular mailbox parcel container. Nowhere on the box was there any kind of Label indicating LIVE FISH.
4). I did get the box out of the mailbox seconds after the box with the fish had been delivered.
When I opened the box to acclimate the fish.. all 11 fish were dead on arrival and looked like they had been that way for sometime. The plastic bags the fish came in did not have enough air in the bag for any fish to survive.
5). This company does not have a contact phone number for customer service, you can only email them and wait for a response.
6). My email request was not to return my money but to send the LIVE fish that I paid for and ship them properly in the right container.
I have been keeping fish for several years and really can understand any company that is wreckless and disregards the life of their fish in this way. Honestly.. if there was a way to have them shutdown or not be able to ship anything living I would do so.
The fish I bought from Arizona Gardens had absolutely NO chance of surviving one they were put inside that box. I am aware some fish do die in shipping or even some soon as they arrive… But this company’s only concern is getting your money! You get fish you ordered all right .. DEAD ones !
There is no refunds and no attempt at replacements even though the fish arrived dead and the fault is there own. Photos were provided to upon arrival.
Bottom line .. DO NOT BUY anything from
Arizona Guardens.

They bribe customers for good reviews

"Absolutely awful, literally the worst company I think I've ever dealt with. Be aware that they offer a $20 gift card for 5 star reviews, which is presumably the only reason they have any good reviews. They didn't bother to send my plants for a week and a half, and when they finally did, the plants that arrived were mostly dead- I could actually smell the rot from outside the package in the post office, it was like salad left too long in the fridge. They said it was my problem and wouldn't take any responsibility at all. Extremely upset at them."

Excellent experience

"Shipped when told they were going to and given a tracking number and email from company to let me know they were out for delivery.Made it from Arizona to Virginia in less then 48hrs alive and in good shape.very well packaged.would definitely do business with again."

Fish arrived dead and in decayed state

"They shipped 14 coral pencilfish. All arrived dead and in advanced state of decay. Shipped USPS which took 3 days to arrive. This. Company has no regard for the lives of the fish they are selling. There are so many great places to buy from. Please stay away from this company. Oh and they charge over 100$ for shipping. Stay away. "

"I will never in life order from this company. I guess everyone was right about this company. I took a chance on them and all my fish arrived dead 2 were sick and died the next day! Complete waste of money smh. They should not be in business."

My third Order with AZ Aquatic Gardens

"I have ordered fish for my pond for 3 years. My first year was perfect. All fish arrived on time and alive. The second shipment was in the middle of the USPS “confused times” last year and they were and extra 2 days in shipment and we had some losses. I think it was a USPS problem and not and AZAG issue. I just received my third order 29 fish - 100% survival and fish count was correct. I will order again - happy customer.

Wrong fish and they didn’t care

"So I ordered a giant freshwater prawn which isn’t super cheap but not the most expensive thing ever but when I received my package, I got a tiny 1 inch ghost shrimp lookin thing and I thought “ok it’s a baby”. I waited for it to molt a couple times and 2 months later it was the same size. By this time, it should have at least been 3-4 inches but still like 1-1/4 inch. I tried calling and they never answered and then texted them. I asked if I could get the prawn sent to me or if they could refund at least a little bit but they said “I was making something out of nothing”. I wasn’t rude to them or anything but they didn’t care and were super rude back. So I paid $45 for the prawn and $50 for shipping to get a ghost shrimp which I could get for $0.39 at petsmart. Stay clear of them scamming you!
- Also I did order from another website and got my prawn and he’s living a healthy life and growing FAST. Love him. The site was Live Aquapontics.

Read the reviews too late

"First red flag was the fact that the company went ahead and changed me with the credit card without having the fish in stock. I finally got an email response 12 days after I placed the order explaining that they were out of stock . Nobody ever answer a phone call! Got my 10 Coral Pencilfish with two DOA, but they sent me 2 extra, so I was Ok with it. Emaciated fish last less than 48 hours;just like that $268 gone! Mind you I am a seasoned fish keeper with over 35 years of experience. Had a 10G tank with RO mature water as a quarantine tank for these pencilfish. I will not buy from this company again."

Horrible

"I paid for expedited shipping, but never got tracking, and thus all the fish were waiting for 3 days in my PO box, before I got there. Took a long time to ship. Also, no mention of how large and aggressive the fish get. I tried to call and email multiple times but no reply.. STAY AWAY! "

"I only gor half of my order. Still charged full amount. Now I jave to go fight that. Or who knows maybe someday my fish will show up on my door step frozen to death. Absolutely no way to contact anyone. I have tried emailing and phone. Nothing. Do NOT buy from here. No customer service."

Do NOT Mail Order from AZ Aquatic Gardens.

"#1 they charge $94 to guarantee 2 day delivery of live fish, only to have it take 5 days to receive DEAD fish. #2 they require you to contact them within 4hrs of delivery to file a loss form with pics but their form won't upload pics (rejects as file too large) so I had to send pics in separate email. #3 I have been trying to reach them by phone & email for a full week now and have gotten no response. Unless you like dead fish & poor customer service - Stay Away!"
