They were a bit small and I am a new fish keeper, so I'm assuming color improves with age and proper care. The overall experience was fine, but be prepared to learn things if you are new to this like me. "

"First off, when I called in with Questions, Mark was great at answering all of the questions I had. The shipping was fast and the packing was done well, the box was all smashed up (thank you FedEx) but the products were unharmed. The plants came in very healthy and ready to thrive. The one thing that was a major pain point was the fertilizer that came with the plant anchors. The anchors were amazing!!!! They are the perfect balance of flexibility to not harm the plant but are rigid enough to hold it in place. The fertilizer though is not fish tank safe. I am sure it is great for pure aquascaped tanks, but for anything with fish, expect a massive spike in your chemistry that will push into unsafe levels even in a stable tank. I have tried to rid the tank's dangerous levels through multiple water changes and chemical bindings but it looks like I will need to strip the tank, wash all the substrate and start over to get all the fertilizer out. I am reaching out to them today."
