"We have had mostly good days at Gilden Woods, but lately it feels that they cannot get Henry's rhythm down. He is either not eating when he should, not napping when he should, or not getting his diaper changed very often. We have been communicating often with his teachers and school leadership and would love to see this improve."
"Teachers are very caring. I wish there was more clear communication between teachers - need better injury reports, etc. from teacher at pick up, even if they didn't spend the day with them."
"Overall everything has been great. Caring teachers and our kids love coming to school everyday. The only issue is the one I put in the last question. In case hat doesn't transfer over...The only issue we have had here is the fact that you used to have professionals come in and teach the kids dance and music and there was no additional cost to families. Now you offer it sporadically, taught by classroom teachers, during the school day, and now we have to pay for it. I don't like the idea that parents have to choose to pick this for their kids and I don't think it's fair to charge extra for these things that should be included in regular school day. Other than that we are very happy."
"Since the change in management and a steadier teacher hiring, we have enjoyed keeping our children in the school."
"I absolutely love Ms Janay and how wonderful she is with my son. She truly does care about the kids and is so incredibly patient as well. Overall, I’ve had a good experience with Gildenwoods."
"Some teachers are excellent and very caring. The management change in the last year has been a substantial downgrade. We would be willing to pay more for the staff to be paid more and trained more on young child care and education."
"I feel like the level of service and communication has decreased since Beth (former director) left."
