Scame!

"I ordered an I phone 15 pro for next day express delivery. 5 minutes after my order was placed I received an email that phone will no be delivered the next day anymore , it was change to Monday now. The following day I received another email that my order was canceled without any given reason. At the end I end up with no phone and my refund to my credit card will take 5 days. Worst thing is that there is nothing we can do how these big corporations treating people.This sounds like a communist system. "

No phone received

"I recently ordered a new iphone 14 for my daughter and I received the phone I ordered it December 15 and I has been 10 days the order said the phone has been "delivered" but I've never received it,I called Apple and told customer service what happened the person told me to wait 24 hours and see if I received an phone but I did not I called them back they said they would try to help to this day December 30 I still don't have to phone and I've tried calling but they're "disconnected". I paid 1,000 dollars for that phone and it still hasn't changed. I need an phone shipped to me because I did not get an refund neither."

Apple: Total Failure

"I ordered 2 iPhones 12 pro max on November 6. A couple of days ago Apple authorized the withdraw of an amount corresponding to one of the 2 phones only, then, they tried mistakenly to authorize an amount much higher than the remaining due amount (declined due to insufficient funds.) I called them many times (apple customer care do not work on weekends in some countries!!) The first time I reached them, hey opened a case and promised will be taken care in one business day. The second time I called, the operator said that the accounting team replied that the system will mistakenly continue the attempt of withdrawing the wrong amount; while holding the amount of one device, the system will try to charge the full 2 devices amount throughout a week, after that the order will be cancelled!!! They can do nothing about it, and I have to wait 7 days to get a reply from a customer care supervisor. I felt that the operator was very happy to cancel the order when I proposed so; the condition for me to cancel my order was to receive an email with the transcript of our full discussion to reserve my rights.
Apple were trying to show that these mistakes are easy and normal ones, there are similar cases, they are not prompt to solve similar cases quickly, and they are ready to get rid of a problem by getting rid of the customer.

Incompetent at the highest level

"I bought an Apple gift card on 12/13 and asked for it to be mailed to me. 9 days later I never received it and on-line it kept saying "Shipped" but not delivered. I called Apple and told them I did not get it. The rep said they would send it electronically and give it 24 hours. I waited the 24 hours but never received the e-mail. I called Apple again - the next rep I spoke to got "disconnected' while looking into it so I had to speak to a third person. The third person said give it to 4 - 5 o'clock Eastern time to go through (we are now at Christmas Eve) - I called at 5:30. The rep there said they re-mailed (snail mail) the card. I asked why - when that was not the plan nor did it work the first time. She then put me on with a supervisor who at first said they could NOT send the card electronically and had to do it through the mail then went to check and said she could do it but the department that handles it was closed for the day. She then said she would call me the day after Christmas to let me know what happens. Fast forward to the day after Christmas - no call, I had to call them and they told me they remailed the gift card and could not send it by e-mail. At this point I was so fed up I asked for a refund - I'll see how long it takes Apple to refund my money back. Apple needs to refresh its employees on what their policies are - because right now I would be surprised if they could find their own ****!"

Horrible place

"Even one star is too much, I bought the phone from store in Avalon the day before, excellent people, and today I went to this horrible store (apple store in mall of Georgia), rude and unprofessional associates, I asked for manager, the person, so called manager, was worth than the first one, beware of going there"

Lack of Help after bad information

"Had a really bad experience with store Manager Ryan Fackler. Needed some help after getting wrong information, after calling the store, which he could have done. When I came he refused to try and help at all. There was also an attitude of I am in charge and you do what I say and come back when I tell you. He is a poor representative of Apple itself, probably far to young to handle the manager position. I strongly recommend going to another Apple store. I can understand why the store is "so poorly rated on Yelp" if he is representative of the leadership of the store. Apple can do better!"

"I bought a phone and didn’t deliver it to me. Apple blamed the delivery company (UPS).
The phone was already paid, they told me that I need to complain to ups not to Apple. They didn’t care.

"I purchased a new iPhone 11 at Apple online for my daughter to pickup at the Santa Barbara store on my way through town to move her in to college since the Apple Store said that the had it in stock at that location. I made an appointment at the time to pick it up.

When we got there the store said we could not pick it up because Apple had flagged our account with some what I will call a ghost notification stating that some other person was being designated to pick up. We were told at the store that we had to call Apple online to resolve this even though we had not designated anyone else and this was Apple's error. The clerk informed us the phone was there so, just work it through with Apple online first.Sounded like Apple had a security error on the privacy of the transaction with some 3rd party trying to pickup our phone. We ended up calling three times, getting disconnected twice and getting 3 different stories.

One was that they did not know why the flag was there and couldn't figure it out. One was that there really was no reason we could not pick up our phone. The third reason was that eve though we had set the appointment to pick it up, an received the confirming reciept of transaction there was some mysterious second email that we were supposed to wait on stating the order was now ready to pick up. The third person at the Apple online store became incensed at the store for not releasing our phone to us, but because the second Apple online service agent had given him the second notification excuse he claimed that he was not able to release our phone to us.

In the end, the excuses prevailed and they refused to give us our bought and paid for phone until the mystery notification came thrigh and then we could come back and wait in their 30 minute line again.

This did nothing to get us the phone for my daughter that we were dropping off at school that day, and we were from out of town, only at that store because they had it in stock. I then tried to buy the phone from the retail store in a separate transaction since they had it in stock there. That store then changed to they don't even have one. It also turns out that the store reported this is not the first time that they have had to inconvience a customer with this ghost notification that they don't really understand what it came.

As a result I cancelled the transaction in hopes of picking the phone up somewhere else for her. Unfortunately I was not able to do that and had to leave her on her own at college without the phone. This was in addition to losing about an hour and a half that day dealing with the beauracracy.

This, and several other experience with Apple has caused me to conclude that Apples whole system is so full of controls and complicated that they don't even know what they are doing. Apple has created a system that even its own employees sometimes can't find their way around it. I, for one will never buy another Apple product for myself. They creat too much confusion and frustration. I am sure my wife and kids will eventually feel this way too as they face the daunting task of dealing with Apple directly.

Apple store deceit & shenanigans

"Review of Apple store on 29th St mall, Boulder CO
Would not accept unit to be repaired even from spouse of person who had arranged for unit to be dropped off. They are too incompetent even to be able to check the serial number.
Apple claims to be the most advanced technological company on earth, but is not advanced enough to be able to accept online payment for “services performed”, or to accept in store a credit card number and verify payment with credit card company.
Apple claimed that it could not accept payment 2 minutes after the store had closed after the customer had been waiting for Apple store to do something for 1.5 hours while the store was officially open, even though credit card companies are open 24/7
Apple store does not even read documentation that Apple Care had provided to store. In this instance, customer and Apple Care had already performed almost all the diagnostic tests that this Apple store routinely performs on units.
Apple store was given computer for 12 days to allow unit to run to diagnose an intermittent problem. Instead they ran unit only long enough to run diagnostic tests (most of which had already been done) and turned the unit off for the remainder of the 12 days.
Techs did not even know what an ammeter was.
Techs would not believe an extremely obvious diagnostic test run by customer that clearly indicated a serious problem. The extremely obvious test was not in their books so it was not acceptable.
Unit was sent to Apple store with 2 very serious problems and a cosmetic defect that needed to be repaired before unit could be sent to another Apple service location. Apple fixed the cosmetic defect, claimed it was unable to find either of the serious defects, refused to send unit to the appropriate service location, and claimed that its techs were better than any other Apple service location.
Unit was left at Apple store an extra day in part to perform fan tests. Apple store did not perform tests.
The Apple techs at this store are unable to follow written directions provided by both the customer and Apple Care, unable to think, and extremely obnoxious.
Now I am starting to understand why this Apple store has one of the worst ratings in the country amongst Apple stores.

That do not stand behind the products or warranties they sell

"My teenage daughter bought a refurbished I phone 7 from the Apple store website with a 1 year warranty the end of October with her own hard earned money from her summer job. Within two weeks she realized the back camera and flash did not work so requested a return authorization to repair.
They are now refusing to repair the phone because upon inspection they found 3rd party parts in the phone and they only use "genuine Apple parts"
Well apparently not if there are 3rd party parts in the phone that you sold her. They are wanting her to pay more money to repair it. When I asked them if they inspect and repair turned in phones before they resell them the answer was yes and they only use "genuine Apple parts". She had the phone less than 1 month, purchased it from Apple and they won't fix it. I will never give this company 1 penny and I am submitting a report to the BBB today and leaving an honest crappy review everywhere I can find to leave a crappy review.
