Slow, dishonest advertising, poor customer service.

"Dealing with ameswalker is very frustrating. They are extremely slow to deliver products, 3 weeks to over a month is the norm. They do not let you know when your order is shipped. They have failed to deliver the complete order even though their checklist indicate everything was shipped. Their shipping cost is so expensive and makes buying at other sites more economical especially since Ameswalker products are not the best. They have blatantly false advertising on their website where it clearly states "FREE Shipping on orders over $500 in US and Canada". Big lie. Most of all they are rude or they simply ignore your email or voicemail. Terrible, too bad I cannot give them 0 so i must settle for 1 star."

Will Never Use Ames Walker Again

"I purchased a Doctor Leg Rest pillow from Ames Walker for my use following knee replacement surgery. My doctor told me that the pillow was inappropriate for the surgery since my leg needed to be straight after surgery and the pillow forced it to bend slightly. I needed to return the pillow. The pillow did not arrive with a return label as is advertised on the Ames Walker site. When I contacted the company they told me they would not pay for reshipping. I told them I could not find this information on the site. It took customer service 10 minutes to locate the language in very fine print. The pillow was costly ($80), and with a doctor's notification, I would think such a site would accept returns on medically-related items. I will not patronize this company again!"
