"Ordered standard 4 room system for DirecTV service. Scheduled installer to come out the following week. They actually showed up like they said that would. Something DishNetwork couldn't seem to do. Everything is working beautifully. AmericanSatellite was helpful with my questions."
"Like the previous comments, good price, fast shipping. Except they would not provide a tracking number as they promised, even after three email requests.
Then the equipment arrived defective and worked less than a day. Suspected refurbished equipment being panned off as new. Then when American Satellite was called on Monday, they promised FEDEX would be there to pick up the defective equipment that week. Called Friday to learn that they had intentionally sat on my pickup all week and they said that they were about to call me, despite there being 1/2 hour left in their work week at the time. It took yet another call and several more days before the pickup came.
I called their customer serivce center and their rep's were very curt and sarcastic and hung up on me when I asked to speak to their supervisor.
American Satellite has turned out to be completely incompetent and their equipment defective. American Satellite is a complete and total nightmare to deal with."
