"Mainly overpriced, but the worst is that many times they promise a delivery date they cannot fulfill, especially the 3rd party suppliers, even if they are under Prime.
Even worse, when you try to get your money back, they say it takes 5-7 days to refund, so that it doesnt feel like it is worth waiting for your money so you wait for the delayed delivery! And before you can even ask for your money back, you need to contact the reseller and wait another 48 hours to get a response from them! So in the meantime the package may have arrived...
Example: You find something that has a delivery of 3 days in amazon, and 5 days in another company. You choose amazon for faster, and you pay a bit more for this. The product doesnt arrive in 3 days, so you call them and they say you need to ask the retailer and wait up to 48 hours for the answer. so now it is 5 days without your product, which hasnt arrived yet. You ask for your money back and they say ok now you need to wait for 5-7 days to get your money back... and while you wait and you cant buy something else from somewhere else because you dont know what will happen, you receive the package 5 days later...
So you paid extra, and you got the product in 10 days instead of using another reliable company to get the product cheaper and faster!!
In the meantime, amazon still sells the same product promising 3 days!! even though you know it takes 10 days!! And you cant do anything about this, because its all in the terms of service... you agreed about that.
It happened to me with overclockersuk who sell through amazon prime, I have been shopping with amazon for quite a while, I know I pay more, because I always check the price with other sites like ebay or directly form the shops, but its not worth it this way, they have taken advantage of me a few times... no more
