"I order a number of items from Alpinetop.com. They are in China and ship from there. I received my order in about 2 weeks, which given that distance is OK. However, one item, a part number 10001992 Home/Travel/Car Charger for Sony DV Battery NP-FP50/70/90 arrived non-working. Dead on arrival. I wrote them but all they would do is allow me to return it for them to "check". That is obviously not practical since the item is a $9.99 item and they said I must pay the shipping which amounts to appx. $20 when I checked with the US Post Office. Therefore BUYER BEWARE, if they ship you a defective product you have no recourse but throw it away and they keep your money. I would not recommend this company at all. Others who sell from that region realize the postage factor and that there is an inherent defect rate in their electronic items and ship replacements, but not Alpinetop.com. Stay away as there are other China sellers who make good on defective products."

"9/15 Ordered (online) a stylus and other PDA accessories for great low prices.
9/15 Received an email stating that the stylus was backordered (ETA 9/22), asked if I am willing to wait. I emailed back and said I'll wait for the stylus.
9/18 Received email that the order is backordered for the stylus.
9/22 Received email that the order was shipped (postal mail).
9/29 Received order. Packaged well.

I was disappointed that the entire order was backordered, when the rest of the order (except the stylus) could have been shipped.

The battery that I ordered does not fit into the PDA when in the new case (same order). The battery is larger than the OEM battery, so it is understandable that the PDA would not fit into the case with the oversized battery. However, it would have been nice if they would have taken the time to identify the situation - especially since they put the entire order on hold for the backordered stylus.

Overall, I'd probably buy from them again, but I'd have to do more research before ordering.
11/3 update:
I emailed the vender to let them know that the PDA will not power on without the battery cover, which will not fit with the larger, oversized battery. They replied back that they don't sell the battery cover, but that I could return the battery for a store credit. However, the address is in China, and I am responsible for the shipping.
