This is easily one of the best mail-order companies I have dealt with in terms of customer service. I received an item that was damaged in shipment (I attribute the fault to the manufacturer's packaging and the carrier handling, not AllegroShops) and they bent over backwards to resolve the issue. If it hadnt been damaged, I would have rated Shipping Process higher. All communications from their staff were consistently friendly and professional--no adversarial tone or skepticism. Their shipping is extremely fast--I got the item in only a few days. And the icing on the cake is that their price for the same exact item was less than I found it through other dealers on line. "OMGosh - if you are not 99% sure you want their merchandise, look somewhere else. Their returns system is HORRIBLE! It cost me $30 to try on and return a pair of shoes!. They charged me for shipping both ways and a %15 restocking charge. It was going to be %30, but they renegotiated with the supplier!!! 2 days and 6 e-mails later, I now have all the numbers, bar codes, labels etc to send off ONE PAIR of SHOES! "I can't say enough good things about Allegro. I ordered a snowglobe for my mother for Christmas. When the snowglobe arrived, there was a defect with the product. I snapped a picture and sent it along to Allegro hoping someone would get back to me. A few hours later, I received an email stating that they were sending out a new snowglobe and there was no need to send the defective one back. They have been great from start to finish! I am currently living in Barcelona, Spain, and when I needed to place a last minute gift order to my loved one in Santa Monica, California, they were very helpful and prompt with ensuring that my order made it there safely in as timely fashion as possible.
