"Ordered two large multimedia storage units for almost $1200. The packaging was inadequate and damaged during transit. One box completely opened up when it was unloaded from the truck by the UPS agent, pieces fell out, and were damaged. The company does not take phone calls and only does business through emails. They take their sweet time contacting you regarding complaints. I suggest you find another online merchant who handles customer service through phone calls, packages its products more effectively to prevent damage, and is more responsive to customer service complaints."

"I recently placed an order on All Multimedia Storage as a Holiday gift. Shortly after I placed the order, I read the Reseller Ratings reviews and got VERY concerned.

First I wanted to make sure that the item arrived before Christmas, and second, I was worried that I would lose my money altogether.

After re-reading the previous negative reviews, I realized that while the customer service did not seem stellar, it appears that both customers got their money back and even got to keep the product. So I felt a lot more comfortable that I was not going to get ripped off!

I then used the "Contact Us" page on their web site to see if I could get an estimated delivery date. I received a reply within a few hours indicating that my item would be shipped on 12/13 and would arrive by 12/19 (plenty of time before Christmas).

That quick response made me feel a lot more confident about my purchase! I am pleased to say that the product arrived on time (and undamaged) as promised. I was pleasantly surprised by the smoothness of the transaction and the responsiveness/accuracy of customer service. Maybe they have improved significantly since the initial posts, but at any rate, I would not hesitate to order from them again!

"Ordered on stated date. Waited until 9/9 to email requesting an update (website states "1-4 day ship time". No response after 48 hours. Called between 9-12noon pacific (website states these are the "staffed hours") on Monday (I think it was). Got a recording directing to email(!). Got recording two or three times. Emailed again and finally got a short email 9/13 saying it was a new vendor and details were being worked out and should ship shortly. 9/19 emailed again because we were leaving the following friday for a week vacation. 9/20 email saying that they could hold it as it was likely to arrive week of 9/25 while we were away(!). Emailed back asking that they hold it, got no reply. No box on doorstep 10/2 when we got back, so I emailed stating we were back and when could we expect shipment. No response AT ALL. No ship notification, no credit charge. Waited until 10/6, emailed again asking about it. Talked with fiance shortly thereafter and emailed to cancel the item as we found it somwhere else cheaper. Told them that we were highly disappointed by the lack of communication and excessive delays for an item advertised in stock. Said we'd refuse any shipment and credit charge and to CANCEL asap. Got an email a day or so later saying it had shipped 10/3 and would be no charge for shipment. All without any sort of notification whatsoever. Highly HIGHLY FRUSTRATING experience. BAD customer service. I can understand working out a few issues, but this was excessively bad, compounded by the lack updates and seeming lack of interest in keeping us as a customer. Had they charged us, we would have sent it back, we were so disgusted. Having the item free was small compensation for the amount of trouble they caused. NOT RECOMMENDED. Buyer BEWARE."

"I will give the credit for shipping the shelf out and having it arrive quickly. However, my shelf arrived missing a part and they were completely useless in getting the issue resolved. They could not fathom how to send out a replacement part, even though thier website says they will do that. They are slow to respond to emails, if they respond at all. Apparently, they can't understand the simple english "Missing Top Panel", as the followup question they sent me was completely worthless and showed a complete lack of reading the first email I sent. You can't even call them on the phone, as thier phone number goes to an answering machine telling you to email them. That's just extreamly unprofessional. After dealing with this for about two weeks I finally had to threaten them with protesting the charge, at which point they said they would refund my money (we will see if this happens). So, after waiting about two weeks, I am stuck with a defective shelf, that which just the littlest smidgen of effort they could have resolved the problem and everyone would be happy. Now I will have to wait until my money is refunded to get a replacement. Who knows how long that will take. These guys are completely clueless about customer service. Do not order from them. Avoid at all costs."
