"My card has been charged over 2 weeks ago and still no item shipped. The email address on their site does not work (bounces back, from hotmail) and no one answers the phone. The name on the charge to my credit card was EXECUTRON COMPUTERS SANTA ROSA CA. Seems like I have been had."

"UPDATE 4: Aug 14. Still no monitor. I leave messages daily (except for today; it seems the voice mail box is full) but never get a return call. I have been given false tracking numbers over the phone and lied to repeatedly. I contacted the IFCC yesterday and filed a complaint.


UPDATE3: July 23 (order placed on June 11). Still no monitor!!!!!! Was promised again last week that I would have a tracking number the next day. Yeah right..................

UPDATE2: Partial order arrived overnight?!?! That was the first positive thing that's happened. Unfortunately, they conveniently forgot to ship the keyboard. Good thing it's not a more expensive component missing. System is fully operational and I comfortable with the equipment I did receive. Hopefully, the monitor will arrive soon and I can move on.

UPDATE: My order has finally shipped 14 days after it was placed. That is to say PART of it shipped. A 17" monitor has not shipped with the rest of the order. No mention of why just a short note saying it has not shipped.

"Thanks to Advanced Vision, aka eDotDirect, aka IO Sales, I never make an on-line purchase without checking Reseller Ratings first. This company has got to be the poster child for checking ratings!
My only consolation is that VISA takes fradulent chrges pretty seriously, and only a month and a half after these crooks got the bait-and-switch computer back in their filthy hands, I got my refund.

"I ordered a Pentium 4 1.8 slim case computer advertised on Price Watch and received a Celeron 1.8 mid tower. Tech support will not issue a RMA number to correct their mistake. I have filed a dispute with AMEX amd will file a complaint with the CA Attorney General for "bait and switch" tactics. I will not deal with this dealer again."

"Don't buy any system from this company. When I got my system, the mother was dead, ram fail (tested with a ram testing program), and even the cd-rom is not reading any data too.

Becareful with this company, they sell broken systems and parts.

"BEWARE BEWARE BEWARE, this company also goes by Edot direct on pricewatch. By orders of magnitude, the worst company I've ever dealt with. Charged my credit card right away, shipped the computer weeks after they said they would. Impossible to contact, don't answer phones or respond to emails. The hard drive failed after a couple weeks, after lying to me day after day, "we're testing new Maxtor hard drives", they sent me a used Quantum fireball (after 3 weeks, they initially said 3-4 days)- this drive isn't even available any more. I'm not the only person, read the other posts, everyone has the same problem, avoid this company at all costs."

"Don't even think about buying from this company. Bought a sound card from them. It arrived on time but was defective so I called them and got an RMA number and returned it. They apparently received the defective sound card but instead of crediting my cc they debited it again for the cost of the sound card. Tried going to their web site but they didn't seem to have it on-line any more. Tried calling them but a recording said that the phone had been disconnected. Called my cc company to explain about this company. CC company said that they would square it for me and they credited my cc. I have made dozens of on-line purchases from dozens of companies and this was the first defective part I've ever received and it is also the first time my credit card was screwed up by any one. This is the only bad experience I've ever had when purchasing parts and I will NEVER purchase from them again. "

"UPDATE:The same day these guys were contacted by the Santa Clara County District Attornies office they issued a refund to my CC company. We've got them running scared now!

These guys are going down. The California Consumer Protection Agency has forwarded my complaint to the Santa Clara County District Attorney's office for investigation. They are going to put these guys so far back in the pokey they are going to have to pipe the light to them and feed them with a sling shot.

"DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY AND THEY ALSO GO BY EDOTDIRECT.COM (YOU SHOULD SEE THOSE COMMENTS!)

I purchased a PC (AMD Athlon 1600 XP, it was a good price, $346 w/shipping). It took over 2 weeks to arrive. The hardrive was loose, the fan was thrown into the case because the idiot that put it together didn't have the foresight to use long enough wires. I guess throwing it in was easier. Then nothing would install without it crashing. Blue screens, illegal operations, wouldn't boot. Put on eternal hold when I called them until I called one day and the first thing I yelled was "DON'T PUT ME ON HOLD!" Then I was issued an RA by a woman that had all the personality of a dead fish. Am I crazy to assume that I would not have to pay shipping for their defective merchandise? WRONG! I got slapped with the Airborne bill to boot as the company had not determined the merch to be "defective". They are shysters and swindlers and they have no right to be in business. I will also be contacting the BBB in their area.
